  1. I am very glad you decided to post your Renault as I really enjoyed seeing it. It brings back memories of seeing them race in the 1960's.
  2. Thanks guys - It was a very satisfying build as it turned out pretty much as I had hoped.
  3. I have wanted to build a chopped, full-fendered ’32 Ford 5-Window for quite some time. This model was inspired by one of my favourite local Deuces. I just happened to be there when the builder flashed it up for the first time. He built this ’32 5W the way he wished he could have done with the first Deuce Coupe he owned as a young hot rodder. After a few years the builder sold the more recently built car but it remained local. He missed it so much he eventually bought it back after a number of years. It had been driven very little. Amazingly enough he paid the same as he had sold it for. ALTERATIONS & ADDITIONS -Top chopped about a scale three and a half inches - Roof top insert removed - Louvered hood top from LouverWorks - Stock firewall from Replicas & Miniatures which had to be modified to provide room for the engine - Wheels and tires – kit tires with hand painted white walls – front wheels from kit, resin rear wheels from a stalled Mark Gustavson endeavour. Baby Moons from AMT 40 Ford. - Small Block Chev V-8 from AMT parts pack with a parts box 4-speed trans. Used kit SBF oil pan to mate with engine mounts that had to be reshaped to give clearance for the headers which were modified from the Testors Smoothster. - Transverse rear spring and cross bar from AMT 40 Ford. Tube shocks. - Dash and gauges from Model Car Garage - Headlights from Revell ’30 Ford Phaeton Street Rod - Faux drilled front beam axle - Firewall to radiator stay rods are sewing needles - Front and rear frame spreader bars are aluminum tube - Decals from various kits - Tamiya Light Blue
  4. Gorgeous Deuce. Hard to beat suicide doors. I also dig the air cleaner you installed.
  5. Fabulous Ferrari. Very well built.
  6. Fabulous slicing and dicing bodywork. Great design as well.
  7. Good lookin Deuce !!
  8. Very nice MG. I have a lot of fond memories being a passenger in an MGB in the mid 1960s
  9. Great to see how well the Lazy Modeller flames turned out on your Deuce as I am going to use the same masks on my next Deuce project.
  10. Good to see your 928 as I always thought there were very interesting cars. They might have had a better place in automotive history if they had been branded something other than Porsche.
  11. Fantastic looking Deuce in all respects. Very well designed and constructed.
  12. I am very impressed with all the models you have posted lately. This is my favourite.
  13. Yours is an exceptional build of the AMT kit which I have always respected for its age.
  14. To my eyes your Aston looks beautifully well built.
  15. Great looking Champ Car in one of the most memorable liveries
  16. #225 arrived Victoria BC Canada Tuesday October 15
  17. Thanks guys - It was cool to see this thread brought forward as coincidentally I am planning on taking the model to a model show this weekend Vancouver BC where the dragster was based. Your replies made me look back at photos I have collected of the Syndicate Scuderia. I especially looked at photos of it with the front mounted blower as it was when I first saw it in 1963.
  18. Great design that really works.
  19. Another gorgeous build.
  20. Beautiful Chevelle. Very well built.
  21. Good looking Cobra. The blue paint looks fantastic.
  22. Great project of a good looking Corvette. Very interesting the an actual prototype existed. With the rear end of 61 and 62 being so similar to 63-67 I wonder why GM did not continue with an opening trunk for the roadster. May have had something to do with the independent rear suspension??
  23. Great looking front row grid !!
