  5. Excellent example of one of the most beautiful Ferrari rear engined F-1 Ferraris in IMHO
  6. Very very attractive. Definitely on the list of all time good looking Cadillacs.
  7. That really is a good looking Ferrari race car that is definitely worthy of joining the list of illustrious and gorgeous Ferrari sports racers that proceeded it.
  8. I have always liked Boxers and Testarossas so I was very pleased to see your two gorgeous examples. I am disappointed to learn the Fujimi kit has flaws. The first 512BB kit I bought for $4 was a motorized version with opening doors from the Tokyo Marui Co. Ltd. maybe tellingly without tires and wheels [maybe they were OK !!??] I later acquired a Fujimi kit figuring between the two I could build a decent Boxer. I just pulled the Fujimi kit out of the stash and see what you mean regarding the wheels and tires. I remember seeing a resto-mod Boxer in Forza magazine so maybe that is the way mine will be built !!
  9. I really like your Deuce Coupe. Well thought out and built. Great weathering which is something I have never attempted.

  15. Gorgeous Cadillac. I have always liked the GM 4-door flat-tops hardtops.
  16. Thanks everybody. I really appreciate your comments. I am extremely pleased with how well received this Deuce has been.
  17. I am very glad you decided to post your Renault as I really enjoyed seeing it. It brings back memories of seeing them race in the 1960's.
  18. Thanks guys - It was a very satisfying build as it turned out pretty much as I had hoped.
  19. I have wanted to build a chopped, full-fendered ’32 Ford 5-Window for quite some time. This model was inspired by one of my favourite local Deuces. I just happened to be there when the builder flashed it up for the first time. He built this ’32 5W the way he wished he could have done with the first Deuce Coupe he owned as a young hot rodder. After a few years the builder sold the more recently built car but it remained local. He missed it so much he eventually bought it back after a number of years. It had been driven very little. Amazingly enough he paid the same as he had sold it for. ALTERATIONS & ADDITIONS -Top chopped about a scale three and a half inches - Roof top insert removed - Louvered hood top from LouverWorks - Stock firewall from Replicas & Miniatures which had to be modified to provide room for the engine - Wheels and tires – kit tires with hand painted white walls – front wheels from kit, resin rear wheels from a stalled Mark Gustavson endeavour. Baby Moons from AMT 40 Ford. - Small Block Chev V-8 from AMT parts pack with a parts box 4-speed trans. Used kit SBF oil pan to mate with engine mounts that had to be reshaped to give clearance for the headers which were modified from the Testors Smoothster. - Transverse rear spring and cross bar from AMT 40 Ford. Tube shocks. - Dash and gauges from Model Car Garage - Headlights from Revell ’30 Ford Phaeton Street Rod - Faux drilled front beam axle - Firewall to radiator stay rods are sewing needles - Front and rear frame spreader bars are aluminum tube - Decals from various kits - Tamiya Light Blue
