  1. I'm sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how difficult that must be for you. Excellent builds for the year! If I had to pick a favorite, I'd go with the Super Bee. David G.
  2. I remember following your WIP on the Mack. Mind-blowing detail work and scratch building skills. The Goldenrod is a beautiful replica. David G.
  3. Hello Everybody! Two thousand twenty-one was my most productive model building year to date with seven builds completed. First out of the gate was AMT's 1958 Edsel Pacer. Followed by my take on the Joker-Mobile using AMT's 1949 Mercury sedan. I also included some implements of mayhem. The TNT is scratch built and the Thompson is from the parts box. With a Joker-Mobile on the shelf, I needed a Joker to go with it. This is my version of MPC's Joker figure, the dynamite and M-16 are add-ons. And of course, the two of them together. Next up is my first Supercar build, the 2006 Ford GT by Polar Lights. For this kit, I challenged myself to finish it in the light blue plastic in which it was cast. Next is the Batman figure by Moebius. This is one of two figures included in the kit, the other of which is intended to be mounted as riding the Bat-Pod. I plan to build that one in 2022. Here he is with his Tumbler Batmobile also by Moebius, which I completed in 2020. As near as I can remember, the backdrop is from the Bat-Missile kit. Here is my take on the 1959 Chrysler Imperial from AMT. This kit builds up surprisingly well considering that it's at least sixty years old. And the last one in for the year is the Super Trebuchet. A working wooden model from ToysTub.com. I like to step outside the ol' comfort zone from time to time. As always, thanks for taking the time to look and please feel free to post a comment. May the coming year bring you Happiness, Abundance and Peace. David G.
  4. Fantastic work on all of them! David G.

  7. Hello Everybody! This is an operating wooden wooden model of a siege engine. The company I bought it from calls it a Super Trebuchet but it's really more of an Onager with a cantilever bow-spring. For those who may be interested here is a link to the build thread. It is a working model and it works rather well. It can throw the provided plastic projectiles between five and seven feet with a fair amount of accuracy. It was a quick and fun build and a pleasant change from my typical styrene automotive kits. ToysTub, the company I bought it from, has a number of different siege engines as well as a wide and varied selection of wooden puzzles and other toys. Their web site is at ToysTub.com. I plan on getting a Weighted Trebuchet from them next. As always, thanks for taking the time to look and please feel free to post a comment. David G.
  8. Thank you for your kind comment Steve. I do plan on doing a little more with the equipment stack. There's a panel of toggle switches on top that I'm currently working on modeling. I may also add the flat panel monitor and some random cables as well. Thanks again. David G.
  9. Just an excellent set for the year with a number of unusual subjects, all of them are very well done. I'm really diggin' the van, like we used to say back in the day, "Bitchin' van dude!" David G.
