  4. This build seems to be taking on a life of its own. That's often when some of the best things start to happen. David G.
  5. I have to say I've missed the detail you're calling out at the feet of the grey-suited man. As for the "prize", I'm certainly not expecting anything. It's all in good fun. Although, if you want to throw me a kind word on the two build threads (Silver Cloud and the Superbird) I currently have going, I would welcome that. Also, "Silver Cloud and the Superbird" sounds like the title of one of those blaxploitation movies from the 70's. Cheers, David G.
  6. The wheels look great so far! It's often the smallest details that can have the largest impact. David G.
  7. Yeah, that's like bass boat paint. David G.

  17. Thanks Joe. I should have more to post soon. David G.
  18. Hello Everybody! It feels good to be getting back to the bench. I sanded out most of the imperfections and have it masked for the second and hopefully final color coat. The paint went on well enough, now to let it cure for the final rub-out and polish. That's all until I get some more photos edited... or taken... or work done. It's one of those, I just forget which it is. Anyhow, thanks for taking a look and please feel free to let me know what you think. David G.
  19. Hello Everybody! Here is a small update of what I consider a major accomplishment. These areas are nearly done. I'm getting down to what I call the "Pinhole and Trim" stage. I'm quite pleased with the outcome so far and I believe the patient will make a nearly complete recovery. As always, thanks for taking the time to look and please feel free to comment. David G.
  20. Thank you Pierre. I hope to have more color shot soon. Thanks Steve. I had considered decals for the wood but the service trays will difficult to see once the model is assembled. Also, considering the overall quality level of the rest of the kit, I felt this would be good enough. I do appreciate your advice though, thank you. David G.
  21. That dash looks fantastic! David G.
