Nice work. This gen is kind of all but forgotten. Doesn’t the box show the front end sitting about 5 inches too high?
-
Light, agile, and who needs a top? I’m just glad Revell molded it in white this time. That 1.6 Liter? Uh, no.
-
Yup. Welcome to the "well, might as well spend the whole day right here at the bench" weather...
-
Nice! Really like the engine work.

C’mon Steve! Nothing wrong with refrigerator design. To me, there is some aesthetic to these 80’s “boxes”. We are fortunate the Japanese kit makers have already produced quite a few from the era and this is upcoming: -
Yeah, great paint work. I believe this is the second car with pink today...
-
Last or latest? Hopefully the latter. Looks great. The pink is, uh, nice paint! Like the outside-the-norm color choice.

Very cool and well done.

I like it. Great work. The headlights and taillights on that kit are very well done.

Oh, I have about 10 that I want to build. But, seeing how it usually takes about 11.25 months to finish one, I’ll take it one step at a time.

Idea for a new addition to the forum.

Maybe Camaroman did some kind of time travel Jedi mind trick and told Shaun how to find it. I know I couldn’t. -
Excellent work Bruce! Congrats!

That is very cool. Nice work.

Here is my week-late Cannonball Run car. Not in the actual competition...but completed none the less. This was built as a tribute to Brock Yates and is a modern take on Brock’s previous runs in his Challenger. Not a lot of mods... Semi stripped the interior and threw down some carbon fiber decals in the rear compartment. Added race style seats with CF decals. Removed the center console (replaced with a case of protein drinks for The Run). A couple cases of LaCroix add weight and hydration in the back “seat”. Wheels are Pegasus to mimic the later model wheels on Brock’s car. Added lug nuts and actually painted them two tone - but Alclad pale gold is pretty darn close to chrome, so unless you get the perfect light, you can’t tell. Under the hood I scratch built a Kenne Bell-ish supercharger. That’s about it. Thanks for looking and congrats to the great models that actually made the deadline down in the Cannonball Run CBP!!!
