  1. Cool interpretation of the 34 Ford. Kudos!
  2. Wow! That is great model building! Turned out beautifully, Roger.
  3. 3D hubs and hand laced wheels really stand out on this beautiful classic. Beautiful work, Pico!
  4. Sitting on the deck on a beautiful holiday Monday enjoying the heat and watching the birds, flickers, robins including mutant ninja robin, mourning doves, and other assorted feathered creatures playing in the birdbath and clearing the yard of bugs.
  5. Classic hot rod. Beautifully built.
  6. Very cool and classy hot rod! Well done!
  7. Wow! Very cool! And well built too. Kudos!
  8. And it keeps going. Next in line is the AMT (ex Lindberg) 53 Ford Victoria for the Coke treatment.
  9. Very cool build of the Rocket Bunny kit, Jonathan. Love the 40th anniversary theme.
  10. My God! That looks claustrophobic! Where do you put your arms? Looks like they would be pinned to your sides. I mean, it looks cool but how long could a person stand being pinned in there?
  11. Yes, we're all different. Love summer, heat and all even if I don't tolerate as well as I used to. Winter is 10 months, I'll happily take the little 2 months of summer heat we get.
  12. Always a big job organizing printed material. And there's the poor wee Comet buried. Nice kit haul from the meeting (in What I got today).
  13. Am I the only one who entered this topic expecting Curly, Larry and Moe or Shemp? Don't know these other guys.
  14. Why "sadly"? So much of what makes a classic car is its engine. The sound of an air cooled VW or puckata, puckata, sound of a Model A or the sweet sound of a Ferrari. You take that away and you've lost the soul of the car. So much of an old Jaguar or Aston is their engine. You may as well go buy a Tesla and bury the poor antique in the ground. I'm not anti electric car as a modern vehicle. I"m considering at least a Hybrid for my next vehicle (too far from the city in a cold country to go full EV at this time). But I hate seeing it done to classic cars.
  15. Wow! Claude, that is one fantastic model! Great work.
  16. The Hobby shop that Bluenote mentions informed me that it is actually partially acetone based. They have been using Tamiya Lacquer thinner and Mr Color (Mr Hobby) lacquer thinners with good results. Acetone is not recommended as it would dry it out too much.
  17. Dan, you get to play with great "toys".
  18. Wow! What a fantastic collection. Great to see early sports car racing brought to life in scale form. Cool early open wheel racers too.
  19. Beautiful build of that McLaren. Cool to see the both of them together showing the evolution over 24 years.
  20. I agree. All the environmentalists and politicians can think of is taking stuff away. Our federal government is proposing a single use plastics ban. Yet when there is a disaster you see them delivering cases and cases of bottled water. What happens now? We recycle like crazy. Instead of taking away useful products from us, how about going after the people who are dumping plastic in the ocean/lakes. If companies who are responsible for recycling plastic are dumping illegally, go after them, not the little guy. These days people use skip the dishes and Alexa and want self driving cars and the stupid environmentalists think they’ll bring refillable containers to the grocery store? Yeah, right!
  21. Very cool build and I enjoyed the bit of history provided as well. Job well done, Matt.
  22. You certainly got the feel of the real wagon. Very cool!
  23. Very cool & different police pursuit vehicle.
  24. Sad news indeed. He was (at least to some of us) a legend in this hobby. R.I.P. Phyllis and Gerald.
  25. Great to see a Model A Ford built up in stock format. Job well done.
