Yup that's what happened to Oroville. Lots of thrift and antique shops and they just don't do that well. Plus your town is up a creek without a paddle if Walmart decides to pull out.

Plus at least Hobby Lobby has paint and evergreen plastic and other items. HL is the.better choice especially if there is no local hobby shop.

It's because the big corporations are being run with the same flawed philosophy. The two most important parts of a purchase are the buying experience and the delivery and installation. . The delivery is where the corners get cut. Outsource it as cheaply as possible. In turn the delivery schedule is aggressive with no time to deal with any issues.

Cool project. Great concept. I think it worth the effort to adjust the roll cage. Everything else looks great.

I think the paint looks great. Think it would be a waste to strip it. Yes gunmetal is a metallic. If you do want to paint metallic you would probably want to work on your technique. Also askd in the questions for tips on spraying them.

First off 3 months to fix their problem is totally unacceptable. It's obvious hey we have your money we're in no hurry to fix it. Second they are paying as little le as possible for delivery and it's shows in the poor Install. Unfortunately this is typical of the big name stores.

A lot of places outsource delivery of large items. Costco recently brought that delivery back into house because the contract delivery was creating too many problems.
