  1. I had no interest in this kit when it came out, but I would buy a couple now. I just got two more of the Datsun pickup and I recently got an unbuilt Ram D-50, the molded in blue version.
  2. Looks cool!
  3. I bought a big sheet of foam poster board and just cut off however much I need to make a box.
  4. I'm looking forward to this one. Here's hoping that they also do a street version and a wagon version. Volvos are most known for their wagons. I drive one!
  5. I'm really ready for Italeri or whoever to reissue all the 1/24th Land Rover variations that they might have. I have the old Monogram one that I work on periodically and a Bburago diecast one that I can't currently find.
  6. I've built the last one in my stash, so I'll probably get one or two of this kit. I originally clicked on this thinking that AMT was putting out a '76 Chevy truck. LOL
  7. One thing that I always try to remember is that running a model company is a lot harder than me as an armchair CEO thinks. I do hate seeing certain kits reissued over and over, but I also understand that the companies see a dwindling pool of customers and they have to do what is most cost-effective. With licensing and tooling costs being what they are, I'm sure it is hard to find the balance between the need and desire to put out exciting new tools or retooled old kits and the need to move product as cheaply as possible.
  8. Definitely like to see a backdate kit to turn it into a 1964-ish Jeep Gladiator Townside or even the Thriftside.
  9. Really nice! I've got this kit in my pile to do some day. I really like what you've done with it.
  10. Didn't some of these Coke releases include a Coke machine? I would buy a couple just for that.
  11. I guess I missed something on their site, but how do you pay? Paypal, CC? Is the shipping time similar to that from Japan, 3-4 weeks?
  12. They can hire a model tool archaeologist to wade into the depths of the storage warehouse jungle and see just what is back there and what is in serviceable condition. I humbly volunteer my services!
  13. I'll have to think about this one, but there are a lot I'd like to see backdated to their original release versions. The Dodge van and truck would be great to see again in their early 70s versions. Both the Chevy and the Dodge vans would be great to see with the window van versions. The Firebird I would like to see in the 74-76 version, preferably as a base model car so I could have my Rockford Files Firebird.
  14. Really nice work. I love wagons, I currently have a Subaru wagon and a Volvo wagon, so this is nice to see! I wish they would kit up some new wagon models.
  15. This is so nice, I love this kind of build!
  16. Aswith the Cannonball, I want to participate, but it'll be a couple weeks before I can come up with a proposal if that's okay.
  17. I will want to participate, but it's going to be a week or two before I can come up with a plan, as my wife has her own plans involving me cleaning and decluttering and other unpleasant things.
  18. This may be covered already, but does the inline engine have to be gas? Can it be an inline diesel? Just a possibility.
  19. I'll go through my collection and see what I have.
  20. Sorry, I meant converting the kits to stock
  21. I know it's a way off from you, but is Denbigh Hobby still in Newport News? That used to be a great place to shop!
  22. Have you thought of doing a how-to on converting these back to stock? I would love to see it!
  23. Just for something more current, I'd like to see some of the common street cars released. A Hyundai, Kia, Subaru Outback or Impreza and a Civic either new or re-releases. They could be snap type or easy to build glue kits in stock and with SCCA/club racing options, but it would be cool to also see them done in the exuberant over the top 70s-80s style MPC style, you know "Build it stock, race or custom!" with IMSA-style flares and wide wheels and crazy spoilers and everything. How about a few of the crossovers? A CRV, Ford Escape or a RAV4. Again they could be curbside if necessary to cut tooling expenses, but offer them with optional bigger wheels and tires, off road flares and bumpers. Maybe a roof rack with cargo and offroad lights. We finally got a first gen Bronco that I love and a recent re-release of the first gen Blazer and the Dodge Ramcharger. Now how about a re-release of the Monogram Second gen Bronco and Land Rover and maybe the Italeri Range Rover and Land Rovers?
