Hey, What do you mean not functional !!! You're taking the easy way out??? Just kidding, you are one of my favorite builders my friend and I know you will knock this out of the park. Mad Mike is killing us, he did not include the linkage on his 911 flat six either:) I'm working on it..... Randy

Hi Andy, Mike could chime in here also but the residue may be resin that did not get removed in the cleaning and drying stage when the part comes out of the vat of liquid resin. Try rubbing alcohol applied with a q-tip maybe??? Hope you don't mind but I wanted to emphasize how cool the exhaust system on this motor is. This is where 3D printing shines in the hands of someone as skilled as Mike. All eight pipes and the collectors (the long tips are seperate) are printed as one piece. You gently squeeze and rotate into place on the top of the motor. Pretty much a snap fit !!!! Once the support rods are removed you see where 3d printing allows each pipe to be grown individualy.

Ray, Should have 1/25th wheels by Sunday Randy
-
Hi Folks, First off, a big thank you to the folks who purchased some wheel sets. I seem to have underestimated the intial demand:) Not to worry, we will print more! A special thanks to Ray, Bob and Pete for being vocal in your support . Two ear'ed knockoffs will be coming down the road. Hopefully by the weekend we will have more of the 15 inch wheels in stock and the first batch of the larger size to fit 1/24th scale sports cars. Peteski, posting a cut away of the wheel, positive offset with a 1/16th dia. hole to aid in mounting. Pictures are of the larger size, the wheel is shown fitted to HRM's Ferrari 250 GTO replacement tires...

Hi Folks, Here is the goal... This is our product that is loaded into the store now. It is 15 inch wheel that will fit most 1/25th scale tires. Shown here with an AMT Cobra tire and a Revell tire. Have left it fairly wide so it fits more tires and the width can be sanded or cut with a razor saw to fit your application. This is a one piece print take comes ready to paint. Set of four sells for $15.00 For those of you wanting a larger rim for 1/24th scale sports cars, a larger version will be available in April.

Hi Ray, Michael explained to me that he was not happy with the way some of the carbs printed on those GT40 Mk1 sets so he included an extra set of 4. As for colors for the Mk 2 427 I was looking at the RK Motors site. They did an extensive restoration on #2, the '66 LeMans winner and have a nice photo album. -
Hi Folks, After a 7 week journey from Germany to Colorado we have motors !! Three different engines from 'Mad Mike' are in stock. These are 3-D printed and will build into outstanding models. They are available here.... https://www.modelbuilderswh.com Thank you, Randy

Thank you Daniel ! Tom, It is 30 gauge sheet stock that came from an jewelry supply store on ebay. It was a while ago and I could not find the actual purchase in my history. If you would search "nickel silver sheet stock" you should find some opitions. Hope this helps:) David, Very kind of you ! Eric, Did not ignore you yesterday, had to check and see if the trip out to NNL was still on. It is , look forward to seeing you again! Randy
