Me too. A Q-code Mach 1 wouldn't be a very big leap away from a Boss.

1970 Winnebago D27 Chieftain
Rodent replied to Repstock's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Deep in some formerly dormant brain cells, was a recollection that most large motorhomes of this vintage were on Dodge chassis and had 413 "truck" engines that excited a lot of wrecking yard shoppers that they had found a 440. I found a 1970 Winnebago brochure online today, and it said that they were indeed on Dodge chassis, but they came with a 318. Even the 27-footer. And I would SO buy this if it was made available in resin, even if I had to scratch the interior, and supply the engine, trans, and wheels. https://www.rvroundtable.com/wp-content/uploads/winnebago/1970/1970.DSeries.pdf -
History of Monogram's Squarebody GM Pickups

Joseph makes door handles for the squarebody trucks if you don't want anyone to think the driver of your Blazer has "small hands". -
Anybody use this (or the satin) for the same thing? Brush it over the decal only after it has dried?

I hope it's just ME, but I have been especially disappointed with new TS13 cans lately.

Corner Gas TV Show -What cars are in it?

This is on Amazon Prime? Gonna have to check it out. Love Canadian wit. Sad that Schitt's Creek ended. -
I have used Tamiya TS three times recently. Once was a touchup (blend) on a pickup bed that had been damaged. That was with an old can I had had for several years. The other two were from fresh-from-the LHS cans. The old can behaved like we all love, the others not so much, including TS-13. I don't know if something changed in the formula recently or what. I just couldn't get the glass smooth finish I am used to. Even with heavy final coats, it wasn't as smooth as I like after drying.

Got my license in 1976, and by the Grace of God, my first (and only) ticket was in 2012 in Arizona. Those of you who live there remember the baloney with the speed cameras and the guy driving around Phoenix with a gorilla suit on. Even after the state stopped using cameras, some municipalities still had them. Was on 69 coming into Prescott Valley. Speed limit was 60-65, I don't remember. They "conveniently" spaced the camera warning, the lowered speed limit (45), and the unmarked Ford Escape with the camera so that they were able to nail the most people. Was a Hertz Equinox, so it took a while to get the ticket forwarded. I really didn't want to hire an attorney or go back there for my court date, and especially didn't want to plead guilty and mail them money and get points on my California license. Always the daring one, I started Googling, and found a law firm's website that recommended that out of state drivers just ignore Arizona speed camera tickets. Something about the law stating that a mailed ticket wasn't legally "served" and if you didn't sign it and return it (serving yourself essentially) the ticket would be dismissed. I found my court date online, and sure enough my ticket was dismissed.

66 LWB Styleside, yes. -
Brian said that he thought Kris made them but they aren't on the site. I don't know if that is true or not, but it would be worthwhile to send Kris a message.

Is it possible to ignore a thread? I am afraid that if I follow this thread it may be damaging to my bank account, LOL.- 537 replies

When I was a kid, my parents had one like this. Not sure where they got it, but by then it didn't work very well. I don't recall what happened to it. Even in the late 1960s, nobody in the area could work on these things or was interested in keeping them in tip-top shape. It probably wound up in the dump.
