  1. Haven’t seen mine yet. My town seems to be slow delivering the magazine rate stuff.
  2. https://www.ebay.com/itm/USA-Shipping-10-x-10-ft-30-AWG-Wrapping-Wire/353008379569?hash=item5230f066b1:g:W2kAAMXQbM1Q309s I recently bought two lots of this wire from this seller. Shipped quick!
  3. I agree! The true test is when your work inspires others to do better work. Steve’s builds have inspired my Valiant convertible below.. I’m currently piecing together a detailed interior to replace the old bucket.
  4. Nice work. I also like your shelf display! Looking forward to seeing the Nancy Run truck!
  5. Thanks Niko! It’s nice to see what’s on the road in different parts of the world, especially old American iron
  6. I got the engine mounted to chassis today. It’s a Mercedes Slant 6. Wobbly looking tires are just posed, not glued.
  7. Welcome back Ron!
  8. Ron, you should bargain with your insurance company. Did they come out to look at it or just read the book value for that year Jeep? Back when my daughter totaled our cream puff Corolla we got from her grandfather, the insurance company offered me $1000! I called and explained it was 43,000 mile garage kept car. I had a receipt for new tires. They came out to look and agreed to the $4500 I wanted.
  9. Go back to my detailed answer earlier in this thread. I pin my roll cage to the floor.
  10. Like Mark said, my projects seem to grow. I will start out telling myself it’s going to be a simple build, but I’ll get into the “just one more thing” trap. If there’s an engine I will always wire it and usually add a coil. I add hoses but sometimes cheat on the lower one. Master cylinder and one wire that just goes downward out of sight. I’ll do the fuel line from an engine mounted fuel pump to the carb because I have a lifetime supply of diodes. I just am not into running fuel or brake lines under the car. I like battery cables and adding brand labels onto the battery. Lately I’ve been sanding off wires molded into the firewall or inner fender wells and replacing them with thin wire. And occasionally I’ll go overboard. My Volare messenger car went from telling myself I’d glue the hood shut just to get it done to probably my most wired compartment!
  11. Really neat! I have two of the pumper kits set aside for such a build! The kits were part of Ollie’s $9.99 blowout around Christmas time.
  12. Agreed! There will be some small step I procrastinate on because I’m either not sure how to do it, or am sure I’ll screw it up. Then I finally take a deep breath and do it. I find it only took a minute and went fine!
  13. Very nice! I have this kit and need to build it!
  14. Big day for us! We got together with our family, six adults all vaccinated more than two weeks ago! And my three granddaughters. My younger daughter’s boyfriend asked me for her hand in marriage. Of course I agreed! The kids table!
  15. Looks great! Send the decal guy a note with a photo. I’d expect them to send you a free sheet to add a second decal over the weak yellow ones! They should’ve anticipated this.
  16. Amazon contractors are the worst! We don’t buy from Amazon. Our houses sit 100 ft back from the street and we have curbside mail boxes. When we get a package larger than the box, USPS will walk up the driveway and put on front porch. Amazon often does too but occasionally we’ll see boxes at the curb at every other house, left by a lazy contractor. Someone could drive down the street and scoop these all up! And yes, we’ve delivered packages to a correct recipient in our neighborhood!
