  1. What a cool looking aircraft. The Germans took long chances in their designs, and I love it.
  2. Got a couple of these; they build up nice, and yours is looking particularly clean. Well done so far! Sails or no sails?
  3. Something handsome about these big boats. Nice build!
  4. Even better now! Has a real "comic-book-gangster" vibe going on. Paint it black!
  5. Very cool!
  6. MOOOORE!!!
  7. A little too low in the rear for my tastes, but this is for you, right?! The proportions of your chop and bodywork are just beautiful. Love it overall!
  8. Mustang carved from an emerald!
  9. Pretty cool ideas here, and nicely executed as well! Doesn't that Stude body just beg for customization?! SUCH a cool style for its time; quite forward-looking. Keep it up!
  10. Cool stuff, but the best use of those skirts is the parts bin! (Never cared for 'em, that's just me) Nice to see the other old custom pieces used, especially like the Buick grille. Any thoughts as to colors for either car?
  11. A really fun build to follow along with! Very nice color combo. Keep it up!
  12. By all means, keep us updated! Great work so far! Thoughts on color combo?
  13. A very clean build; nicely done.
  14. One thing these conversions all seem to have in common; you haven't made any accommodations for putting in the gas! Impalas fueled from a panel in the rear, but El Caminos feed the fuel tank from a lid on the left quarter panel, since the tailgate doesn't allow a high enough fill point.
  15. Will look great either way!
  16. Appreciate the info, BobbyG. Other parts I need there!
  17. The contrast provided by the foil is really waking that color up. That's a classy boat you got there! I'd love to see a satin black "faux vinyl" painted top on her to really pop those stainless inserts. Have you considered it?
  18. How does one go about purchasing this beauty of a grille?
  19. This will be a nice looking model when finished; you have a clean building style.
  20. The older Monogram kits still hold their own, and in the right hands (like yours!) can rival the best of the rest. Great value kits! Beautiful example here. Well done!
  21. Got a 59 stalled myself (converting to Le Baron 4dr Hdtp), and hoping to nab a 60 before long (prefer the 60 front and rear treatment) Will be watching with MUCH interest!
  22. Cool kit, cool car, cool options within. This kit looks great no matter how you choose to build it! Can you tell it's one of my all-time favorites? Have fun, and get as much input and "help" ( color choices, style, etc.) from Jonathan as you can; let him feel like this is HIS project, and you will create a modeler!
  23. Looking good!
  24. This is a REALLY cool project; can't wait to see more progress! Those ladder bars are perfect.
