  1. That came out nice! It really captures the look VERY well. Very informative WIP thread, as well, and a lot of fun to follow along. Congrats on a successful and attractive build!
  2. Improved. Very nicely proportioned. I'd like to see more engine in there. Appears to be a lot of space.
  3. Agreed! That small detail lifts the rear visually, whereas before your eye fell immediately to the bottom of the tear drop shape. That small refinement paid large dividends! Are you going custom on the interior as well?
  4. Cool custom; love this body style, especially the roof line. Well done!
  5. Such a cool car, and a beautiful memory to recreate. Looks like you have a definite plan, will enjoy watching this on come together!
  6. That is just too cool! What a beautiful car! Why aren't there models of it available?!
  7. Welcome! Sounds like you may have a few classic gems to show us!
  8. Welcome! You have a really clean building style. Love the color on that 'vette, care to share what paint it is?
  9. Welcome! A cool scratch (or semi-scratch) build is always fun to follow, so looking forward...
  10. Welcome! Can't wait to see some of those autos out of the shop!
  11. Very pretty model of a great looking car, and don't it look great in red?! Well done.
  12. Good start!
  13. I would recommend it to anyone interested in building model cars without hesitation. I was disappointed in that particular release since they removed all the cool custom extras that used to come with it and raised the price, but as long as you want to build a stock '57, it builds up nicely, as seen above and all over this forum.
  14. Very nice. Absolutely love that engine compartment.
  15. Curious, why did you remove the strap?
  16. Bless you, sir! Please do a WIP thread here.
  17. Right on. My issue is the overstated look. In TMP, it was a pearlescent effect,VERY subtle, and nearly invisible as you backed away even a short distance. It was all about nuance. The newer trend is to slap your eyeballs with something approaching a crossword puzzle! Not a critique of your model or you, just the fashion of the day in Trek kits. TOS is forever my personal fave, no aztec needed or wanted; the grand old lady needs no makeup.
  18. Nicely done! I think this is a very handsome design for the Big E, what Roddenberry and the boys might have come up with if they'd had more of a budget! I'm not a fan of the trend of "aztec-ing" Trek ships, but you got all those decals to lay nicely and it does give a certain look to the model. Very cool.
  19. BTW, the Revell 68 Firebird nailed these door panels proper! Surely at least one version of their 69 Camaros also used the Deluxe interior? Revell Camaro guru needed...
  20. Hold on, you're closer than you think! That tub is trying to replicate the deluxe style door panels, and on 68 and 69 Camaros and Firebirds, they are virtually identical except for trim. The tub just has the details a bit too shallow. Top pic is Firebird, bottom is Camaro replacement.
  21. I love it! Very creative stuff, and the under hood detail is particularly nice. Well done!!
  22. Fantastic job on this Mustang! VERY well done.
  23. Much deserved! Nice build of tough kit.
