  1. I spent all of Sunday at the Master Caster Remote Desert Outpost. The mission was to set up the new shop, organize the many projects, and pre-stage them on a long counter divided and labeled by project and in order of when received. We got a lot done, almost half of the shop is now organized, and casting can begin again in the new digs. In the number 1 spot is the Crown Victoria, followed by three other jobs, as we felt that four jobs on the table at any one time should suffice. Casting is all about organization, and without it things can get confused quickly. Greg has also been working on a new, large center island table that the actual casting takes place on, with an encircling high pressure pipe array that has chucks for the many surrounding pressure tanks, powered by a new large compressor. A new industrial style A/C system has also been installed with exposed duct work and vents, and you can make it cold enough to hang meat in there. A lot of work has gone into this shop, and it's going to do very well. A few pics:
  2. Great looking truck, love the colors, and this has to be the most popular new kit in the history of this board. Top three, at least.
  3. Great job, and not one but two, no less. I have always thought that these CJ7s were among Monogram's best efforts in terms of scale and proportional accuracy, and these builds do them justice like no others I've seen.
  4. It's funny how the Celica looked so much more Mustangish than the Mustang of the same era.
  5. Outstanding, Dwayne. Looking forward to seeing your new LTD-S (single headlight) header panel, always my favorite design.
  6. Wow, how cool! Love the Mercer Raceabout, (there were possibly two) and I bet they were affordable back then.
  7. I considered picking one up for 35 mil. Hey, that's half price!
  8. Looks great! An iconic, yet rarely seen movie car.
  9. Same here, I had a paid account starting around 2013, automatically deducted from my bank acct annually, and my account with them never did stop working - although a few random pictures in a thread here and there got nuked. They probably decided not to screw with paying members because it was at least some money rolling in.
  10. I'm sorry to hear that, Greg.
  11. Beautiful job, nicely outfitted for the overlanding look that's gaining in popularity.
  12. I can use a set of ugly 15" Torq-thrust II's to model my 1:1 Ranchero.
  13. Fabulous work, the engine looks like the real thing. This is going to be very nice.
  14. Wow, what a looker! (how did I miss this thread?)
  15. That is definitely thinking outside the body.
  16. What a beauty!
  17. That's nuts. I see Fusions absolutely everywhere, how can they be losing money on them.
  18. Thanks, wouldn't have guessed that one.
  19. I picked up this mystery rear valance at the DSC 14 swap meet - for a dime. I thought it was Mustang, but doesn't fit any of the '65-'73 Mustangs I have. Camaro? Firebird? Henway?
  20. That's quite the development. You'll be busy!
  21. Super nice rendition, your stance looks better than the real car!
  22. This one pictured is powered by a Paxton blown EFI 5.0 Ford.
  23. Very little, if any, if you make the copies of the printed master out of hard resin, then use those to make the mold. A lot of molding, though.
