  1. One of these years I need to catalog mine. Half the time I don't remember what I have. When we moved, I had to remove a lot of them from their boxes because of bugs, so they're just in freezer bags in bins in the closet.
  2. Very nice! The paint looks amazing.
  3. On the two coupes with the beds sticking out of the back, judging by the seals around the edges it looks like the beds are removable/retractable. The burgundy and black one looks almost like the bed slides in and out like a file drawer. Is this the case?
  4. I looks like a nice kit, especially for a snapper. I've got the AMT Plymouth Horizon TC3 in my stash and they appear very similar as far as the parts go.
  5. Great Job! I love the color.
  6. I'm down! I'll build it!
  7. That's handsome! I like the Crosley too. It looks like something you could stick in your pocket.
  8. I like the rear treatment on this one, but the nose makes it look like a Predator.
  9. The corvette-truck thing is a whole lot of ugly. But I like the newer corvette nomad. I'd like to see the front end.
  10. The forum members here are great!
  11. "googley-eyes" from craft stores work REALLY well as reflectors for round headlights. They come in pre-set sizes so you can choose the ones that match the application. Drill out the headlight, cut the back off the eye and dump the "pupil". Glue it in the hole and once it's dry just chrome it with BMF or pen.
  12. Nice find! Looks like a great kit.
  13. Nice work! Can't wait to see how it comes out!
  14. Depending on the application I alternate between BMF, Molotow pens and Allclad. I did do the trim around the bed of an El Camino with the pen and it turned out really well. The trick was to catch the pen just right on the lip of the bed and keep the angle straight. There's still no substitute for BMF, though. I like them better for retouching chromed parts. I'll post a picture later today.
  15. My wife and I have both worked retail and, while this may sound pessimistic, people will steal ANYTHING. My wife used to own a video game shop and she had a Sega CDX connected to a TV she used for testing games. This system was basically a Sega Genesis and Sega CD all in one small unit. A customer quickly grabbed the unit and dropped it into her purse and left. Didn't take the cables/power supply... And while I was working for RS we had a big display where you could try different speakers/car stereos to see what they sounded like. Some of the units didn't have the face plates to bolt into, so we chained them down and connected them. Someone patiently unchained one of the stereos and walked out while we were working with someone else. It's amazing sometimes.
  16. I hope Round2 reissues this one!
  17. Beautiful paint color. Very nice!
  18. Citadel Miniatures/Games Workshop makes a white paint that is VERY opaque and works really well for whitewalls (Ceramite white). I like their paints a lot for detailing.
  19. The level of detail on this is amazing.
  20. Very nice job!
  21. One of the companies needs to make a modern kit of that. Very Sharp!
  22. Just to answer your question: These are excellent kits. Despite the fact that the front fenders are separate from the body, the whole thing goes together extremely well and it's VERY detailed. You'll be happy with the kit if you decide to get one.
