  1. Hope they build enough of these.
  2. Love the "Used and abused" finish. Impressive ladder rack.
  3. Beautiful paint job and finish. Like the wheel and tire combo.
  4. Perfect stance and a good way to pick up a late model pickup at a good price. A friend did the same thing years ago with an old Caltrans Chevy. He drove it until it wouldn't pass smog inspection anymore.
  5. Hi Alan. Thank you for your interest. This was just completed before it was posted. I started the model when they first were issued and got as far as the chopped top and shortened the bed. Then life sort of got in the way and didn't have time or inclination to build models for several years. This partially built kit had been in a box in my stash that I sort of carried around with me for all these years until I came across it recently and thought it was time to finish it. I found a box that had a few others as well that I started long ago, may finish a few others in the near future.
  6. Great paint color along with the contrasting interior.

Great paint finish and trim detailing.
  8. Beautiful paint finish and the "Mod-Roof" looks very realistic. Only recall ever seeing one when these were new and it was at a new car show sitting. The trim and chassis are all well done.
  9. Exceptional paint finish and trim details.
  10. Beautiful looking build and attention to detail.
  11. Beautiful paint finish and color along with the black body accents. Like the wheels and tires.
  12. Great looking paint color and finish. Maybe you could elongate the hood opening to clear the shaker.
  13. Some of the problems with the panel fit seem to be fairly common on these as well as a few of the other '39 & '40 Ford kits it would seem. I have had to correct the Hood to Body as well as the Fenders on an AMT '39 - '40 Ford sedan kit I'm working on now. I think it may have to do more with the age of the molds than anything else. I recall building many of these kits years ago including the original coupe and the sedan delivery as well. The most resent kits Hood trim is all but nonexistent and the body side trim isn't much butter. These are all fixable and I'm not really complaining, just agreeing with you on what you're having to do on your build. Enjoying watching all of your improvements on this build.
  14. Thank you for the pictures. I like seeing what everyone else is building and in what styles.
  15. Great looking finishes and the "Tin Worm" seems to be having its way with the lower rockers.
  16. Great looking patina body finish. Like the Rally wheels and the stance.
  17. Great looking paint finishes and like the Flatbed conversion.
  18. Great looking paint finish and color, the graphics fit the model and time period.
  19. The interior flotsam adds to the overall appearance.
  20. Like the LS engine swap and the body changes. Used to see a few Fieros with the Cadillac OHV V-8s done.
  21. Beautiful looking cars and trucks with a sitting to match.
  22. No, you're not really crazy just misunderstood. At least here on the Forum you are in good supportive company. Some of us are fortunate enough to have basements that can provide ample storage for model inventories. Remote storage facilities are possible solutions to your storage issues, as long as their location and existence can be kept secretive.
  23. Might want to check out the possible side effects. Sometimes the cure can be worse than the sickness.
  24. Hopefully someone will be able to post some pictures next week.
  25. Great looking paint scheme and colors. Like the commercial looking style.
