Remarkably great shape for a car approaching 60 years old. Wise to install the new wheel cylinders, the inside of the OEM ones would have to be pitted too much to rely upon.
Thankyou David. The seat inserts were an experiment that worked as I had hoped. The interior was painted with Tamiya Matt Black. I masked off the area that would be the cloth insert that Ford did. Theirs actually looks even better with additional color threads running through the cloth material. I sprayed the inserts lightly at arm's length using Testors Extreme Lacquer Pure Gold so the color would arrive at the seats fairly dry and that added a little more depth.
Thank you Jim. I do a light dusting coat of clear blue on the inside. I allow it to dry overnight and then dip the windows in a small container if Pledge floor polish. When I remove the glass from the Pledge I allow the excess to run off onto a paper towel. I'll even touch the bottom edge of the glass to sort of wick away any extra to try and prevent any runs in the finish. By morning it is fine to handle. I have been using Revell' Contacta clear glue for clear parts. You really don't need to use very much and any dried glue on the headliner can be touched up with a brush.
Great paint job, just like the old gel-coat metal flake jobs of old. The driver's seating on this kit looks a little tight, but your interior looks good along with the exhaust and the rear skid plate.
I have never been able to get out of a ticket. I in fact have gotten tickets when I wasn't even speeding. One of the draw backs to having a Hugger Orange '69 Camaro at the time.
