  1. Went to the supermarket this morning and found this when we came back to our car.
  2. Not sure of your job description or how dressy of a shoe you need to ware, but I have had much the same issues before retiring and being on my feet and walking on hard surfaces. The Sketchers brand shoes are all I wear anymore. They offer many styles both casual and full leather uppers for a more dressed up look. Buy them online from Prime and they have a lot of pictures of the shoes for you to look at. Usually well under $100 a pair and often run specials. Might check them out and see if they would work for you.
  3. Hi Rick. Thank you for your kind words. With the interest in the current Round 2 reissue, when I found this, I just felt it needed to be done. I had forgotten how clunky some of the kits we worked with in our youth.
  4. To use an Equine expression, "This looks like it has been ridden hard and put away wet". Great looking body and finish.
  5. Beautiful paint finish and colors. Like the detailing on the interior as well as the engine & chassis.
  6. Great looking finishes. Like seeing a build of the basic transportation models done with the same attention to detail usually found on a top-of-the-line body style.
  7. Great looking paint finish and chrome trim is well done. Most impressive interior finishes.
  8. Like how you retained a portion of the original kits roof and drip rails. Makes a lot of sense to keep the impala window shapes and surprising how the rear window opening lines from the Chevelle wagon roof lines up with the trunk opening lines on the Impala body.
  9. Sure a bright yellow and a great finish and trim detailing.
  10. Great realistic looking finish and the interior full of parts.
  11. Great looking paint color and finish. The contrasting interior is cleanly done.
  12. Great looking original style body and paint. Like the wide whites and the open rumble seat.
  13. Great looking paint colors and finish. Like the interior inserts on the seats.
  14. Beautiful paint finish and color combination. Seeing the construction pictures help appreciate the body changes. The rear fenders changed the overall look. The interior detailing and the golf bag look great.
  15. Looked out the kitchen window at breakfast and noticed two Deer walking through the back yard heading out over the golf course. Seem to be seeing a lot of roadkill lately in the area. Mostly Possums, but they may only be playing possum.
  16. Got some nice Z style stripes from STS Decals this weekend. They offer a few different colors as well. @stsdecals.com. I'm only a satisfied customer and have no other affiliations with them.
  17. He presents at local model show and swap meets was missed this last weekend at the Heartland show. I have bought several of Steves castings in the past and have enjoyed them all. He had also bought several of my duplicate kits for resale as well. Always enjoyed talking to him about building and life in general. He will be missed for sure.
  18. Great looking body style and color. Like the wheels and the stance.
  19. Great looking finish.

    Uncertain T

Did you have to use a black base color under the Rust-Oleum Chrome?
  21. Great looking cars. Like the different build styles and all look very cleanly done. Also like how nice your Bel Air looks.
  22. I agree with you about the validity of most of this era AMT kits. This is a build style I tend to fallow as well since it is what appeals to me the most personally and have done similar modifications to a few of my own 1:1 vehicles in the past.

    MPC 1971 Demon

Like that shade of blue and the body trim.

    Revell 1970 Cuda

Still looks show ready. Like the engine detailing and the wheel & tire combination.
