  1. Great looking paint work and like the blue interior. Has sort of a sinister look about it.
  2. Great looking paint finish, and the two-tone colors look good together. The interior colors look great as well, like the way the colors work together. Good engine detailing. Hard to change the overall look of a '40 Ford without goofing it up somehow, not the case here as thew changes seem to look good for a Street Rod.
  3. A Track Hawk before Jeep thought of it.
  4. The finish looks good, just display it as far away from the GTO as possible.
  5. Looks like there was as good a show in the parking lot.
  6. I do miss the weather there sometimes. The lizards used to crawl up the outside of the screen door and just would drive our Lab nuts.
  7. I agree with you, this does look better in the black livery instead of the Gulf Oil colors.
  8. Great looking paint work and finish. Like the engine detailing. Looks better than their box art.
  9. Beautiful looking save. The engine detailing looks great. Like the shade of Blue and the wheels & tires.
  10. There were a lot of great looking colors that GM used on their cars from this era. The Iris Mist/Evening Orchid is a personal favorite of my own, but there are so many to choose from. You can always stray into a custom color that isn't an OEM as well.
  11. This whole problem with Testor's Paint goes back for several years and has been discussed her as well by many. I have never had issues with the product, in fact have been very pleased even using just the spray cans for my builds. The issue has to do with the packaging, or the spray cans themselves. I'm not an expert in this area, but a person I used to work with was previously one of the quality people that worked for a well-known company selling canned foods. Long before the issues with Testors he and I were talking about some of the issues he had encountered with the canning process at his former employer. Realizing that these are two very different types of products it is hard to think that they are somehow related. One thing that he shared with me and one of the reasons he had left that company was that they made changes in the way the containers were made and cutting the cost of production. They started experiencing can failures, I.E. leaking. They wouldn't believe him and the others in his department that the changes were causing the problems, and even suggested it was a staff issue instead of a product issue. He and others left, and the company later figured out that their design changes were the problem not the staff. I also slept at whatever hotel chain used to make you smarter if you had stayed there.
  12. Beautiful looking body and paint work. Always liked the fastback body styles of the late '40's and early '50's.
  13. Beautiful looking paint finishes and trim. Getting the front fenders and grill mounted tightly like this can be a challenge. Great looking "wood graining" on the dash.
  14. Beautiful looking paint work and the two-tone color combination. Clean detailing on the engine and chassis. Alway nice to see an original looking build done with all the trim done correctly.
  15. Even with all of the problems you encountered, the finished model looks great. The paint finish looks nice and smooth, and the under-hood area is detailed cleanly.
  16. Great looking color combination and finish. Like the engine room detailing. All of these builds look great together.
  17. If you're a coffee drinker, you can deposit the used coffee grounds in the flower beds. Seems that cats do not like the coffee been smell and move on. I used to have a neighbor whose cat used the flower beds between our homes as it's personal litter box. I would find it's leavings when I was pulling weeds in the flower beds, disgusting to say the least. The neighbor said their cat was an indoor cat and wasn't the one doing their business, but I would see their daughter let the cat out many times.
  18. Great looking paint and the GMC grill does give it a different look.
  19. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Clean looking chrome trim. Like the wheels.
  20. Great looking build. Looks showroom fresh.
  21. Excellent looking diorama. Very realistic looking.
  22. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. The trim looks great. Like the interior and the added engine detailing.
  23. Great looking paint finish and body trim moldings. White walls seem a little odd, but if that was the way it was and you're doing a model of the original car than that is as it should be.
  24. Great looking paint treatment. I like the engine detailing.
