Sounds like my wife lately. I don't want to get into numbers, since I really don't know what they are, but if I was half my age and built at least one a week there would be more than a few left over when I die in what we call my wife's "Widows Pension".

What did you see on the road today?

I lived on the Montrey Peninsula until I married my wife and moved to Sacramento. Easy to spend a day tasting and be home that night. At that time tasting was free and you would often get to talk to the Wine Maker or someone close on staff and they would give a lot of insight on the current ventage. This would often determine what and how much we would buy at the time. We have been back for the Harvest Ball at Sattui Winery but left the area in '96 and when we last visited in 2005 things had gotten so overgrown with tourists it's just not the same anymore. -
Don't know how I missed this one, but I sure like the way it turned out. The paint color and finish look great and like the factory stripes. I also have one that I have just never gotten to but looking at yours mine might move up in the Q.

I'll bet the problem can be traced back to that addition. Often times when additions are added to existing structures the HVAC systems are not always integrated as they should be. I would still look into having a professional HVAC person look into it, as it might be nothing more than the location of the thermostats. Has to be a frustrating issue at this time of the year.
-
Do you also have two Thermostats? Where thew Thermostats are located in the house also makes a difference. Maybe consider having a good HAVAC person check it out for you. Could also save you a little on the heating and A/C bills.

I bought something on this order to try and keep the Tree Rats out of the bird feeder. Sort of a Bunji Cord affair when the squirrel jumped on the feeder it would launch them in the air. Bad thing is they started thinking this was a Disneyland type squirrel ride.

Great looking build. Reminds me of some of the late '60's Show Cars that were always fun to look at. Like the clean finishes.

Great color and clean looking body trim.

Great looking paint color and finish. Like the stance and the Bracket Racer look.

Our favorite stops are Sattui and Frog Leap and just about anything from Rutheford and the Silverado Trail areas. -
Beautiful looking paint colors and finish. Clean body trim. Like the stance and the wheel choice. I'm also a big fan of this kit and '56 Chevys in general and have built a few. My family had a 210 4-door when I was in school, and I think has always been an influence in my liking them.

Sometimes it is better to deal with quality than quantity. Learned a lot about the fine detailing you put into your builds.

Great looking paint finishes and trim.

Beautiful looking colors and finish. Very cleanly detailed trim and engine. There was a time when it was easier to make monthly payments on a new car that could handle just about anything out there and had a 5/50k warranty for when you broke it.

I also owned a few '51 Fords in my youth and one in fact was this same color but a regular custom model. The story I was told long ago pertaining to your resent acquisition was that Ford had not yet developed their two-door hardtop and Chevrolet was selling a lot of their Bel Air hardtops at the time. The Crestliner you have was a stop gap, a very good looking one for sure, until they could work out the production issues on the hardtop that they did bring to market during the '51 model run.

The Lark was an interesting car in its time. Got to drive a V-8 4 speed Lark and was impressed with its acceleration and handling.

Can you dial back the air pressure to around 20 psi? These are designed to operate pneumatic tools that usually require much higher air pressure.

This may be why you and your neighbors were told not to feed the "Tree Rats". Feeding them makes them think that you're going to do this from then on. They can't comprehend the change of residents and don't understand why they are no longer being feed. As happened with your neighbor they can become aggressive and even attack. About the only thing left to do is make their visits as uncomfortable as possible until they stop coming around. Maybe an old Daisy Red Rider might change their interests.

Check any old decal sheets left over from previous builds. Moon Eyes decals seem to be on most of them if there is any type of performance option in the kit from which they came. If you still can't find them PM me a mailing address and I'm sure I have a few in the old decal box.

Will someone be able to post pictures of the event for those of us unable to attend.

Great looking little pickup. Makes me think this is something to consider in the future. Clean looking finishes and like the sunroof and roll bar set up. Nice tires. -
Great looking build. Don't think I've ever seen this kit before. The body and paint look good, and the engine and skid plate look the part.

Great looking color and trim finishes. The wheels and larger tires add to the look.
