I'm fortunate that my wife has been very supportive with my model building. She has reminded me a few times when I show up with a new kit that I already have more than I can build with the time I may or may not have left. She also goes along to the annual local model show and swap meet. This allows me to go visit other vendors and look at the models on display while she stays with my table of models I'm selling. She likes to go and look at the models as well and comments on the ones she likes the most. She helps me load up everything at the end of the day and we go home and have a nice dinner and we talk about what we both liked and maybe didn't like. She suggests body and interior colors for models of cars she likes. She has a couple of models of cars she liked that I made for her that she has in plastic display cases on the bookshelves in her home office.

Great looking paint color and finish. Neat body trim and contrasting interior.

Beautiful looking paint color and finish. Nicely detailed engine. Like the interior pattern.

Great looking Cadillac. That had to take some foil to trim this. Likie the neatly detailed body and engine compartment.

I have had the same and worse paint experience with Duplicolor paints. They offer some great looking OEM colors, but the last few years they just seem HOTTER than they used to be. Great looking bumpers. -
Great looking paint work and color. The redline tires standout with the roadwheels. Like how you tinted the windshield.

Looks great, amazing how different a model can look by using a color combination you aren't accustomed to seeing.

Like how you did the body finish and showing where the body was modified and repaired. This has a mean looking stance with those wheel and tires.

Looks like something Ford would have as a future product at the Detroit Auto Show, or George Barris may have even had a hand in the design. Like the clear canopy top and all the kustom body work looks smooth a flows well.

In addition to the beautiful color and paint finish the added interior details add to the realistic look of the interior.

Great looking paint finish and the contrasting wheels. Your diorama helps to bring this model alive.

Sounds like the talking heads on our TV weather reports. They look at computer models and they have at least four to choose from. While this may be better than throwing darts at a dart board it still isn't any more accurate. In the old days past the tv weatherman would use pressure charts and recorded wind directions and weather fronts and their movements. They seemed far more accurate then. I have heard that the inside advises to tv weathermen before going in front of the cameras is to look out the window first.

Saw the sun for the first time in over a week. Been overcast and foggy far too long.

Great looking color and finishes. Like the way you did the wheels and tires.

My condolences on the loss of your friend. The finishes on this build are all great and realistic looking. What a great way to show your appreciation of this person.
