  1. Like the sedan delivery style. Interesting two-tone paint treatment. Nice rough and ready gasser on the trailer.
  2. That is a cherry looking Chevy. Always hurts to look back at what could have been. The picture I sent Dave G. was of a model I built a few years ago and was ment to show how nice these kits are since he said he wasn't that familiar with them. I'll share a picture when finished, you may even like the color.
  3. I think your best bet would be at a show/swap meet. You could always post here on the forum you are looking for one. Someone may be open for a trade with you if you have something that they are looking for.
  4. They can be hard to find since I don't think they are issuing them anymore. The kit gives you the grills to build a '42 and the '46 and '47 as well. They also offered a two-door sedan and a sedan delivery. Excellent engine with a nice 3 carb setup and some chrome bits for the engine. There have been many pictures posted here in the past. Very tight parts fit and well detailed, you might want to look over the instruction sheet before starting.
  5. Squirrels may be fun to watch, but these little tree rats can wreak havoc on your home and property and can have a nasty disposition doing it.
  6. The boat with the stainless-steel roof at the bottom of this page was once owned by the owner of Harrah's Casino in Reno Nv. Got to see it years ago at the then annual Wooden Boat Show at Lake Tahoe. This has two aircraft engines and can really move on the open water.
  7. Amazing looking paint color and finish. The interior and the top look great. Like the engine upgrade, sort of a modern take on this classic.
  8. Great looking Surf Woody. The only difference I can see is the shade of the wood stain.
  9. Great looking Charger. The finish seems to held up well with time. Like the engine and chassis details.

    1967 GTX

The color is very bright and sparkly with a nice smooth finish. Great looking body trim and engine detailing.
  11. Beautiful looking little '32. The colors look great and like the black fenders. Listing the headlight information is reminiscent of what was done in the past on 1:1 '32's. Great looking wheel and tire combination, and really like the stance.
  12. Great looking paint finish and color. The red interior looks good. Nice engine detailing. Like Mike's suggestion for applying the foil. This will also help remove any polishing and wax compounds left around the chrome trim. For checking the Hood and Radiatore contact, if you have any children's Play Dough you can put a thin line of it along the top of the Radiator and that should give you an idea of what or where they are making contact. As for you question about ordering a new car circa Sept. 1967. Having been there and done that I hope you check with your Auto Insurance agent before you order a new Charger. Your insurance payment my match your car payment.
  13. Another consideration for getting the front end lower if that is still in your plan. Find some tires that are a smaller diameter than the rears. The unique tread pattern may make that difficult.
  14. Great looking interior and finishes.
  15. Sorry to hear about your injuries. As we retire, we can sometimes forget that we aren't as agile as we once were, and it can take longer to heal. Get well soon.
  16. Are you going to add a clear? finish to the body or leave it more of a flat finish?
  17. A lot of great looking old cars. Your one picture with the '50 Olds in it, the second car is misidentified as being a Nash and it's actually a '50 Ford Convertible. With a few Nash's in the lineup, it is easy to get them transposed. I like the '41 Nash that would have been fairly rare at the time.
  18. As a final polish consider trying Meguiar's Plastix clear plastic cleaner & polish. Works great for redoing your taillights and headlight on your as well. I used to have a ski boat that had a smoked plastic windshield that always got water spotted and was always afraid that I would scratch it as it had happened in the past. This stuff would leave it looking like new every time.
  19. Glad to see this again. A lot of talented artists here.
  20. Thank you for sharing your photos. Many beautifully done builds and the paint jobs along with displays.
  21. Did you see how much they were asking for this little "shoe box"?
  22. I have owned a few fiberglass hull boats in the past but have always admired wooden boats and always liked their appearance.
  23. Beautiful looking paint color and finish. Like the way you duplicated your friends interior trim. Like the lowered 2wd Blazers.
  24. Great looking body color and interior combination. Engine looks nice and cleanly done. Like the wheels.
  25. The interior color change really catches the eye. The engine switch of course is an improvement. The OEM looking taillight treatment is more contemporary.
