Nice looking little convertible. What color paint did you use?

Great looking paint color and finish. The stripes and Demon trim look good. Don't you wish you could buy something like this today at a price comparable to its market price at that time?

Beautifully done scale model. Your attention to the smallest little details makes looking at this a real treat. -
All of the extra body work you did really payed off with the overall look. Great looking smooth paint finish.

The molding in of the front bumper and grill surround gives the front end a smoother look.

Should look great in the bright red color. Always liked the look of the Mercury Comet GT compared to the Ford Fairlane GT body style.

Great looking rust bucket. Realistic looking road rash and tin worm damage. Maybe he should let the dealership body shop play with it for a while. Alway enjoy looking at your weathering. -

Beautiful looking paint color and finish. The body and the bed turned out great. -
Great paint finish and the chrome trim is all cleanly done. Those wheels look perfect on this.

Like the drag car theme and paint work on the Valiant. The Edsel has a nice cruiser vibe.

Great looking finishes and the color combination shows the body lines well.

I would go with the big & little wheel and tire setup. This would also help with the stance. -
Thankyou Steve. I'm trying to build models of some of the cars and trucks I have owned in the past. Many are not available in kit form, I'm enjoying the reminiscing while building those with great memories behind them.

The engine you had done before looks well done and adding heater hoses and the radiator hoses should make it complete. These cars were a great low-cost car to own and insure as opposed to the Super Bees and Road Runners of the day. A thought on the chassis as you mentioned yours was undercoated. Try something on some scrape parts tree that I have tried. Your base body color and allow to dry. Next hold the part at arm's length and lightly sprits it with some flat black to get the desired effect. This also gives the appearance of a slightly dirty undercarriage depending on how much you spray it.

Like the body color and the chrome trim looks nice and cleanly done.

Great looking paint finish. Some of us of a certain age remember when we used to try and use every extra part in the box when we built these models. This would make a perfect "Box Art" build for the side of the box from that era.

Great looking color combination and finish. The body lines are so nice on these cars the trunk spoiler sort of breaks up the rear body lines of the car.

Great looking engine. Like that you removed the vinyl roof.

Great looking '50's color and finish. Like the interior. The kits provided hardtop is a '55 issue T-Bird roof with no side portholes. When these were new the 1on1 owners sometimes sought out a '55 roof not wanting the portholes since they didn't really offer much in the way of additional sight lines.

Great looking shade of blue and the decal stripes look cleanly done.
