While the Revell Thunderbolt kit should give you a excellent chassis and engine to work with, the Model King/Moebius kit should give you everything you would need except the decals to build the Don Nicholson car.

Check your BMF supplier, they should be able to get you BMF that is done in black for moldings and such.

Great looking little Chevy. You mention the nose high stance. The front spindles may not be seated all the way into their mounting points. The paint and trim look nice and cleanly done as does the interior.

Like you I also had a '57 Ford Convertible. I used the AMT '57 Ford Fairlane hardtop kit to make a model of it. I cut off the top. I used the Boot from a later model GTO, I think it was the AMT '65, and displayed it with the top down. I have never found anyone making an Up Top for that model. I might also be interested if someone knows of a current caster of an up top for the '57 Ford.
