Great looking finishes. Your last picture reminds me of so many of these from the past. Guys had to build their own camper shell in the old days, and this gives it that look.
They both look great. Nice paint finishes and the wheel and tire combinations work well on both. There was a reason Ford sold these faster than they could build them at the time.
Gram Pa's car, Well, it looks like Grandpa wanted a Super Sport but needed a 4 door. Hi Jackers and rear tires in the breeze were the style at one time. Great looking paint finish and the interior looks good as well.
I agree with your attaching the information about your build. This gives someone a better understanding of what all you have done. I like the engine and headers. The roof rack is a good addition.
I was going to suggest doing it much the way Sandborder is suggesting. I would stay with the finer grit sanding to minimize any sanding marks showing up in the paint finish.
