  1. I like the more OEM color. Testors used to offer the Chevrolet OEM color you may be going for.
  2. Looking at the tires, your hand is steadier than mine.
  3. Great way to get the paint treatment done. Clean details.
  4. I like the beater look with the trick chassis and power train. I'll bet the U-Joints get a real work out on the rear section of the drive shaft, Nice interior details as well.
  5. Great looking build. The paint colors remind me of a color combination GM offered at that time. Clean looking trim and I like the way you changed the tail lights.
  6. Great looking build styles.
  7. I like these a lot and you're correct they weren't cheap . I think this one is the most interesting and I have the Delivery and have built the Aero Sedan.

    1971 GTX

Beautiful looking paint finish and color.
  9. Looks great. Like you this isn't something I would normally build but looking at what you have done here I'm starting to think that may be fun for something different. Nice looking trim and painted details on the suspension and the wheels.
  10. Speaking of electric power. We live in an area with a lot of new building going on. For those that haven't had the thrill of driving on muddy brand new streets with mud running in the gutters and your new back yard every time it rains, we get to reset the clocks sometime several times in a day. The power went out just as I was posting my last tirade on what ever it was I was carrying on about.
  11. The flashing on the exhaust manifolds aren't all that bad really. Looking at an OEM exhaust manifold most are cast in a two part mold and oddly enough the factory ridge is in almost the exact same place as the kits flashing. Usually a light scraping with a #11 and it's good to go. I agree, that fan has to go. Look on some of the other parts trees for the oil filter. They were usually mounted on the drivers side of the block. You had a tuff looking little Mustang coupe.
  12. You know this whole idea of saving energy by letting your house heat up doesn't make sense. The way I understand it you would use less energy to maintain an already cooled area than allowing it to get hot and then try and cool it again.
  13. If I can't reach it with my finger I use a spoon. I then go back to enjoying the wine while watching the drunken fly trying to fly away, it can be interesting sometimes.
  14. Great looking. Looks like it sat in the woods for a long time.
  15. Beautiful looking Camaro. Great looking paint and trim. The interior looks very realistic.
  16. Great looking interior details. The paint and body look just like on TV. Well built.
  17. The new one looks a lot like the old one only better.
  18. Thank you, I have been starting to look for different ways to do chrome trim since the problems others mention having with chrome foil.
  19. I held a California drivers license for more than 30 years. Trust me if law enforcement in California sees anyone rolling thru a Stop Sign it is going to cost them a pretty penny.
  20. Great looking paint finish. This looks like something that would have come out of the old Gas Monkey Garage.
  21. Big block Chevelle in "Arrest me Red" = Muscle Car. Great looking paint and trim.
  22. Great looking finish. I remember the fits the front end was giving you. I like the wheels and stance.
  23. Got to smile when ever you see a Manx. I like the attention to the chassis and engine details. The swing axels aren't well done in this kit. The flower decales are a perfect addition, you could hardly find one with out them way back when.
  24. Beautiful looking Mustang great looking paint and trim. I agree with you on the spoiler. While most of the 1:1's had one and it was the style of the day, I think it disrupted the flow of the body lines.
  25. Beautiful looking paint and trim. Nothing like getting a great price on a kit like this that you like so well. Very clean looking trim and I like the way you did the chassis. Now if Round 2 would just re release the Comet that AMT had at the same time since it was every bit as nice as these.
