  1. The $2000 asking price would be high for this and the entire "field of dreams" behind it.
  2. For those wishing to make a '68 out of the '67 Camaro kit might want to get detailed pictures of both and spend some time looking at the differences. There are many differences that most would miss if accuracy is important. The car its self could be ordered with so many variations in trim and interior beyond the Vent Windows and Grill shapes it would be easy to start getting the little details wrong.
  3. Very nice looking build. The paint finish is nice and smooth, how much polishing did you have to do there ? The under hood detailing is very realistic looking.
  4. Great looking CJ and I like the light mud splattering on the body. Neat looking boat.
  5. Turned out perfect , and I also like the Cuban back story. There used to be a TV show on the Car Culture in Cuba and this would be one of the best ones out there. What the Cuban people have done to keep these older cars on the road is beyond amazing. While the color was not a stock color for the era a couple of years done the road It would be a perfect way to update the look. At that time side view mirrors were an option anyway. I think it looks great.

    1968 GT 500

Beautiful looking Mustang. The color is perfect for this one.
  7. Very elaborate paint work. Watching your build and seeing the paint work evolve and then the finished work it was still hard to imagine just how it would look. In addition to the paint work the entire build is cleanly done thru out.

    MG-TC

This should be an interesting build. I thin k the BRG color is perfect for this.
  9. I agree with everyone else on the Roof color. The Tan color better patches the color scheme and using the Fabric Style spray should offer a good texture to the finish.
  10. Your modification of the firewall seems to have gone a long way to compensate for the chopped top. You may have to rework the interior a little also for clearance. From my limited experience with this basic kit I would suggest the Grill area will also be a challenge when you get there. I like the three Carb Flat head engine idea.
  11. The wheels that gtx697 suggested may be the best valid bases with the Knock Offs removed. A very small flat "cap" of some sort for the center. The hardest part seems to be getting something that looks like a Hub Cap and not a true Wire Wheel which is what most of the options seem to look like.
  12. Very nice looking cars. I really liked the Chevelle Wagon.
  13. Neat looking pick up. I like the V6 engine idea.
  14. I followed your build on this. I like the things like the paint work and the mismatched white walls.
  15. I fell while putting down Weed & Feed in the back yard yesterday. We have a pretty good slope in one area and the grass was wet and the leg with the bad knee went under me and my other leg went the other way so I'm doing the splits and sliding down the hill in the wet grass and trying to catch my self while falling I jam my right hand into the raised planters I built years ago. The walls are made out of 6" by 8" blocks and I jammed the ring finger on my right hand to the point that the end of it was hanging at an odd angle and the nail is bleeding profusely. I went to the Care Center this morning and the good news I managed to not break anything. They X-Rayed the finger and the Doctor thinks I may have damaged the Tendon in the finger and has a Hand Specialist that is supposed to look at it. There is very little pain and the nail is all that is really sore. I think it is amazing how one little miss step in the yard can turn your whole day upside down.
  16. Beautiful looking build. The colors, and finish, all work together perfectly. I like the engine upgrades and it all fits under the stock hood.
  17. So many great looking cars. Thank you for sharing.
  18. I wonder sometimes if the Camo type covering doesn't draw more attention than a plane painted body.
  19. Looks great to me. The hood thing would be common and the Wood Grained Tail Gate would be part of the Malibu trim package and the Bucket Seats would have been optional. The yellow ACCEL plug wires were considered a standard up grade. Very nice looking parts chaser.
  20. This is one great looking pick up. Makes you wonder why Ford didn't do it. Very cleanly built and I like the Artillery style wheels.
  21. Looks like a fun build and a good way to remember someone special.
  22. Looking good up on all fours. FWI the Custom cab trim on the 1:1 truck cab was a semi-polished aluminum material, how ever you want to finish that. I like the White Walls.
  23. Beautiful looking conversion to a vary basic model of Challenger. I really like the 6 cylinder engine switch and the detailing under hood is outstanding. When someone uses the term "Less is more" this is a good example of what they mean.
  24. Very nice looking build. Ford sold a lot of Pink T-Birds in '57 and the color was also available on the regular car as a tutone with White or Black. Still see the Pink Birds at auction often.
