  1. Great photography and the model is outstanding.
  2. Looks very nice. Do you have any pictures of the interior, engine or chassis to share ??

Your bucket seat conversion turned out perfect. I like the look enough that I will try this on an up coming build.
  4. The differential change if any would depend on what you have in your parts stash. A thought if you wish to lower the ride height. The rear tire in your picture looks as though it might be ever so much to the rear of the opening. If you lower the suspension the easiest way would be blocks or spacers between the leaf springs and the differential. The differential could be moved forward just little when you remount it to the springs. Also depending just how low you want to go you may want to think about a C notch in the frame above the differential. I like how you Tabbed the rear wheel wells.
  5. I remember an old saying, "Book smart - Street dumb" Just because someone has a "Higher Education" doesn't always mean they know what they're talking about.
  6. You might try Tamiya TS-33 Dull Red. It's non metallic and a flat finish. If you need a little more sheen you could dust it with their Semi-Gloss. As always picnic spoons are your friend.
  7. Beautiful build. The engine is well detailed as is the chassis. The vinyl roof looks dead on. very accurate looking.
  8. This is a very sleek looking body style and the Black color should look good. Great interior.
  9. The wheel base looks like it is a little short. This may have happened when you lifted the suspension for the off road tires. I would suggest looking at changing the wheel base to center the tires in the wheel openings before you cut open the wheel wells. This will save you time opening the wheel wells and the suspension is already altered so anything you do there will really be unnoticed. This is a very interesting concept and I have enjoyed watching your build.
  10. Your engine and interior look great.
  11. You've got all the goodies on this one. I think I'm seeing a red High Lift Jack in there also. You are ready to go Wheel'n.
  12. Looks great, I like the colors you used.
  13. Great looking build, and YES CLEAR IT.

Not sure if that is a factory color, but who cares, with that white stripe it looks perfect. With the light colored interior it looks more like a luxury version. I like it a lot.
  15. Looks very clean and the color catches your eye. I also would like to see more pictures.
  16. Beautiful build. The tires do fit the look of the model perfectly.
  17. Liking it the way it is best, but should you change your mind you could give it a light coat of Tamiya TS-71 Smoke. Smoke is a lightly tinted clear which would make your Silver color darker but would tone down the Metal Flake look. I usually use it to make a dark tint or windows.
  18. That hood is nasty dirty looking, looks just right.
  19. The old AMT boat will be a welcomed come back for my self. I just did the Hemi Hydro with several changes and now I want to do more. While the Datsun pick up isn't high on my list of to do builds I do remember when the Mini Truck thing was really big and these where on the leading edge of that so maybe one of those.
  20. Very clean build and shows just how great this model looks in colors other than Candy Red.
  21. Beautiful paint job and the color really stands out. The wheels make it look very current with street rod trends. Looking at this build it is hard to think that at one time the '37 was called "the ugly duckling" .

Great looking build and I really like the color combo. Have you considered using the kit's bench seat , cut it apart and make bucket seats if you stay with the consul ?? This way you would have a matching seat pattern to the rear seats.
  23. Great looking stock build.
  24. Great looking interior.
