Beautiful build. I like that you can show it with or without the top.
  2. Beautiful Pro Street. Besides the paint the engine is really a standout.
  3. Beautiful Diorama.
  4. Your build looks dead on, well both due but I like shinny best. Nice to see such a great artist appreciated your work.
  5. Beautiful paint and the engine is outstanding. I'd like to find a belt setup like that for a future build. Was that in the kit ? It ;looks like an aftermarket pulley and belt setup.
  6. The Red Line tires might look good with the red interior. I'd at least try them since you already have some and see which you like better.
  7. Great looking build. Nice color and the trim looks perfect.
  8. Something about the appearance of the body really draws you in. Then looking at the engineering of the chassis and the attention to detail really makes this build outstanding. Except for the driver's position, and that is somewhat part of the theme, it looks like something you would want to drive.
  9. I'm not familiar with this kit but it sure turned out great. I might have to look for one of these.
  10. The interior is beautiful.
  11. I like the Custom Grill & Bumper treatment shown on the box. The only thing that stands out as odd on this kit is the windshield area, it just seems very thick. I agree it would be nice to see one of these done right.
  12. Thank you for sharing. Beautiful pictures.
  13. A Custom/Hot Rod combo. Best of both worlds, I really like the paint color.
  14. Very nice clean build.
  15. You might want to look around. I know that Hobby Lobby isn't in your area but I'm sure you have something similar, today they had a couple of the roadsters on the shelf so they are around.
  16. Great looking color, excellent detail on the wheels and front hubs.
  17. I built one of the original issues of this model. I just walked over to the display case and sure enough there is no "glass" for the vent window, I just never noticed. I'll call it a senior moment.
  18. At first I thought you were showing a picture of the 1:1 and then your model. That is truly impressive looking.
  19. Beautiful clean build. The paint is outstanding. Almost makes you want to sign up for 60 easy payments .
  20. I remember the movie well, mostly for the Camaro . I remember when in the movie they had to paint it flat black after the "robbery". The dish slotted mags you used are more of the street look of the time. Which model is your build based upon ??
  21. Turned out beautifully. It would seem that the original builder couldn't makeup his mind as to what color he wanted. I don't think I've ever seen that thick of paint, O wait there is a restored '60 Ranchero here on the forum that may be close.
  22. Going to enjoy watching this build. I really enjoyed the Trans Am series years ago. In '69 and '70 I worked for Union Oil Company and one of my duties was to help at Riverside Raceway whenever there were races. I worked at the service station in the pits and got to see many of these cars up close, I should of had my camera.
  23. Your color combo looks great. I really like the way it sits.
  24. I have used the clear plastic that comes from around the neck of a new dress shirt. They are very thin and will bend if needed. There are many other sources around the house if you look for a while.
  25. I almost never make any purchases Wal Mart for this very reason. When I get to the checkout it seams as though at least one or two items never ring up as marked on the package or the display area. Can't prove if this is by design or just sloppy workers. Now with the proliferation of self checkout they can now say it was your error if you catch it. Now add your experience to how many other shoppers and you can see a great ripoff in action by Wal Mart. One of the local TV stations did a report last year on this very type of thing and Wal Mart was the biggest offender.
