  1. I'm a sucker for black and gold livery - very nicely executed
  2. I love this - excellent execution and the realistic dust and your ability to make the car look like it is soaring through the air is nothing short of brilliant
  3. I love black cars - especially E-Bodies. The simulated vinyl top looks great!
  4. Thank you Thank you - first attempt at using craft paints through the airbrush. I'm happy with the results and by far a much cheaper alternative. Thank you - I had some struggles with some of the details, so I'm glad you appreciate them Thank you Thank you Thank you That's exactly the look I was going for - glad you appreciate it Thanks - clean and shinny builds are a challenge for me. Your compliment means alot.
  5. Very nice the stance, wheels, colours, and body mods all work great together
  6. Calling this one done: Tamiya's Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R Hardtop inspired by the car Paul Walker drove in Fast Five. Though it had limited screen time, I feel like it is the best looking Japanese car to make it on screen in the series. It has a wired engine, wood grain interior trim, BMF exterior trim, flocked interior, and addition of Fujimi Watanabe wheels. I could have started with the Tamiya Street Custom kit, but I liked the deep offset of the Fujimi wheels and I had both on hand. The wheels were painted with Alclad II Jet Exhaust for the bronze look, everything else was done in acrylic paint. The body is craft paint from the dollar store, thinned and shot through an airbrush with AK Interactive Ultra Gloss.
  7. That's a good looking build!
  8. The weathering is perfect - well done!
  9. Sharp looking car!
  10. Very cool - the weathering is spot on
  11. Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. @David - Japan has some tough inspection laws. Believe the vehicle would be allowed to be listened as long as it meets the mechanical requirements. Regardless, it was a fun, fictional build.
  12. Nice looking build - can't get enough of these early gen Celicas
  13. I really like this - the color and stance define the look
  14. She's a beauty - thanks for sharing! The seatbelts certainly enhance the finished product. I just took delivery of my kit - any pointers before I start?
  15. My latest completion form the Hasegawa kit. Box says the scale is 1/24, but it feels more like 1/26. I instantly envisioned a shop truck when I saw the kit and every shop truck needs patina. Other than the Datsun decals, everything is kit stock. Paint is combination of various Vallejo and dollar store craft paint. Also my first attempt at using weathering pigments. Realized afterwards I installed the chin spoiler backwards, but I like it better the way it ended up.
  16. Nice! I remember getting rides to school in my uncles Esprit - looked just like your build! thanks for sharing
  17. I agree with everyone-was expecting to see a HEMI orange car when I clicked on the thread. The color choice and execution gives this MOPAR some elegance and class. Well done!
  18. Nice color choice!
  19. Nicely done!
  20. Lowered wagons + Torque Thrusts make me happy!
  21. Good looking truck, despite the mentioned challenges. The Lindberg name is not something that I associate with high quality, from my experience lol.
  22. “Wow!” Is the word that comes to mind after looking at your pictures….
  23. I like this a lot. The hood really complements the body lines well.
