blunc Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 The apparent thought put into this, attention to detail and nuance is a delight to see.You have successfully captured the flavor of "Deco" style and created (another) work of art.BRAVO sir!
Randy D Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Eric, I can only echo "blunc" Mike said it so well ! What pleasure to follow this one. Congratulations !!!!!!! Randy
Mr. Metallic Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 You had a concept in mind when you started, and just ran with it. Thank you very much for taking us along for the ride and showing in great detail exactly what you did. It's a beautiful concept, but the innovative techniques to execute it are to truly be applauded.
mrindy77 Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Nice concept from start to finish. All of the design elements came together to produce a very unique model that hearkens back to the Art Deco era.
TimKustom Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Incredibly designed and executed model. Hats off to you sir!
Matt T. Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Next level! Unique and impressive. Well done! I'm going to miss the build updates - they were like chapters in a great book. You want to get to the end, but you don't.
Modlbldr Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Turned out to be a work of art! Simply amazing what you did. Beautiful.Later-

tim boyd Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Eric.....Tom Woodruff sent me pictures of your car that he took at the contest....it looked great there, and it looks great here. Seldom do we see such creativity combined with such attention to detail and craftsmanship. Congratulations....and I can't wait to see what you come up with next....TIM
Impalow Posted March 23, 2017 Author Posted March 23, 2017 (edited) geeeezzzz guys... Thank you all for the wonderful comments, its quite flattering, and overwhelming. Thank you all so much! Here are a couple more shots from the North Coast Auto Modelers meeting... I talked Tom Kren into letting me get some shots with his super clean box-stock"ish" build. Its cool to compare and contrast... it also makes me realize how little of the actual kit I used.... haha Edited April 25, 2017 by Impalow
