Just finished this as if there may have been a real one . Used the old AMT Ranchero kit most of us may have built at one time . Painted Icy Blue with black stripes . Cobra parts from a Fujumi Cobra kit include engines, hood scoop and wheels and tires . Side pipes from parts box and bed cover with spoiler made from sheet plastic . Just a few little touches to finish .

Thanks guys. Ralph, this is a simple kit and I didn't do much extra so it didn't take too long. Add the fact that I am retired I have lots of time to build. I will be taking a break from building for a month or so. I should also add it was 114 out today so I am stuck inside so building is a good option of something to do. :D

Looks great! I like the simplicity of it.

I have this kit as a rebuilder and have never done anything with it because I don't like the looks of it. You have managed to change my mind and have given me a few ideas for it. I may have to throw something like this together with it someday for a quicky build.

Well executed idea, maybe the monochromatic look ain't my taste and if it was my build I think I would have had some chrome as a contrast to the blue, but that's completely a matter of taste and it's a great build anyway! :)

Good looking Ranchero, really like the Shelby relationship.  I also have a couple of these and some various parts of others in my stash, plans for all of them some of these days.

I too am retired, (disabled) and I seem to have tons of time, but I also have modelers add.  I have about 7 things all in various stages of assembly and disrepair.

I learn a lot watching you all on this board.  Lots of neat tips and tricks that seem so simple once you do em..

Keep gluing!!
