zaina Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Calling this one done. From the old pics that I could find, this represents a truck that was driven by the gas company I work for back in the 60’s. It was painted with same pagoda green that was used back then. This is the second company truck I’ve built and have ideas to do many more from different decades. 3
Dave Van Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Great build!!! I'd gone with black plug wires...minor pick....
Atmobil Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Very nice, I like it a lot. That slight weathering effect really makes it look realistic ?
TarheelRick Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Super build. Just enough weathering to let it be known this a a true work truck, but not so much as to make it look abused. I have to try that one of these days.
peekay Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Fantastic job on this. The subtle weathering is exemplary.

bill lanfear Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Very nice! Excellent used look and engine detail!
David G. Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Excellent weathering! Are there any photos of what's in the basket on the bed box? David G.
carrucha Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Nice build. Good job weathering the truck and detailing the engine.
zaina Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 Thanks all for the kind words. As soon as this kit arrived I knew I had to clear the bench for it. It was a lot of fun.

These were in the rack from an old build. Spade, flat shovel, 2 prod rods, post driver and a piece of pipe. All tools of the trade. Also a couple of traffic cones. 1
Fairfax Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Wauu! Very nice! This is what I want. :-) I can't wait for them to sell it at our place, too.
MeatMan Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Awesome build! Very nicely detailed, and I love the weathering on the tools.
leafsprings Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Great build, very realistic looking fleet truck. I was holding out for the longbed styleside, but this one might change my mind.
