DumpyDan Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Hey everyone, I was able to get the 69 Dodge wagon I started quite awhile ago finished over the weekend. This started out as a glue bomb I picked up at a show years ago, I started cutting it up wanting to make a wagon this is the end result. 1
peter31a Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 That is one sharp wagon, Dan! Job well done.
BeakDoc Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Wow! That is an incredible transformation. Perfect color and I really dig the accessories.
57peppershaker Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Thats a fantastic looking Dodge wagon from the coupe.
espo Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Great body work on this. Makes you wonder why Mopar didn't offer something like that back then. It can be hard to make the transition between the rear window and a sedan tail light and bumper look right but you were able to make it look factory. I like how you have the body and trim looking like a Hi Performance edition of a wagon with after market wheels and tires. The rear wind deflectors add to the OEM look of the body.
SoDak1 Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Woohoo! Long roof muscle is where it's at. Great job on this conversion
TarheelRick Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 Well executed concept. Beautiful build and some outstanding scratchbuilding.
tmathew1us Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Wasn't sure seeing the beginning pictures and build, but it came out great!
Geno Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Hey, a really cool Bee hive lol. Great job Dan, I like it.
89AKurt Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Very cool! I like how you did the bottom, very realistic. Also noticed the tow hitch. I only know about Chevy, which painted their engines orange, at least around '68 '69 (since I own those pickups), find it interesting that Mopar did too.
spencer1984 Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Nice clean work on this, it looks like it could have been a concept floating around Detroit at the time.
mustang1989 Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 I like the way it all came together. Sharp ride.
Belugawrx Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Really nice Dan ! Let's see some more of that engine ?
