Tommy124 Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Hi there, another restoration done. Not much to say about this kit, except that it is stone-old and not very well-engineered on the front end. The paint I used is contemporary Ford Lime Gold by Gravity Colors, sealed with 1k clear from the can.
Can-Con Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Beautiful. You don't see that kit built very often and yours turned out fabulous !!???
Spottedlaurel Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 That looks great, nice job you've done there! I'd happily have that as a kit or as a 1:1.
Bills72sj Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Nice result with your Galaxie. My brother had one when we were in high school. That kit is on my wishlist.
Breeezy Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 The colour is perfect, hope I can paint the shells like this one day ?
GeeBee Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Another superb build from you, lovely clean build.....
espo Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Great looking Galaxie and the paint finish is nice and smooth. The interior and exterior colors look good together.
mustang1989 Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Now that's a car you just don't see built very often. Despite the engineering of the kit you managed to turn out one helluva good looking car Thomas.
Beepbeep Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 The colour and especially the panel lines are perfect.
