89AKurt Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Unofficial reveal, of the Italeri (Testors) Ferrari 250 GTO Spyder. WIP: Italeri/Testors Ferrari 250 GTO Spyder The factory never built a Spyder of the famous GTO, two cars were coach built on average Ferrari chassis (is there such a thing?). I saw the convertible twice, once in my town when the Copperstate Rally parked downtown, and at a Monterrey Historics. This is not an exact replica, added some features such as the roll bar. I will take better pictures when the weather cooperates.

The Mercedes 170V Roadster was more challenging. So this was really a piece of cake. 4 hours ago, Curt said: Very nice work, Kurt, per usual! Thanks Curt! 4 hours ago, Phildaupho said: Fabulously gorgeous Syder. Very well built Much appreciated. ?
DonW Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Although it is sacrilege to take the roof off a GTO, you did a fine job and it is perfectly in the spirit of the NART convertibles. And I love yellow Ferraris!
Rich Chernosky Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 A magnificent piece of work Kurt. Followed this in WIP. Really appreciate the attention to detail. Well done.
Spottedlaurel Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 I enjoyed seeing it come together in the WIP thread. Great to see it completed, the finished result looks fantastic. Super-smooth job done on the rear bodywork.
