johnz Posted April 4, 2021 Author Posted April 4, 2021 john, the chrome is molotow,I like it better than alclad but its still hard to get as smooth as I,d like.the return spring is a light bulb filliment.thanks for the compliments
High octane Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 WOW John that T Bucket pick up is just beautiful which is an understatement. An excellent job on that build, however it would look MUCH better sitting on MY shelf believe me. Congrats!
Steve H Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 Beautiful build John. Perfect use for the sprint car tires, those look awesome on there. Steve
Koellefornia Kid Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 Awesome T-bucket! Love the scoops and the headers!
tim boyd Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 (edited) John....some really, really fine workmanship on display here....congrats! TIM Edited April 6, 2021 by tim boyd
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 As others have said, nicely done. Definitely built to a 'T'..... -RRR
Nitrobarry Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 VERY NICE engine detailing! Great power plant choice! Love nail heads!
Dan Hay Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 That T is nice! The nail is beautifully detailed. Where did you get the Cal Custom scoops?
Mr. Metallic Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 One tough looking T you have there. I love the stance, with it slung low to the pavement but with the rear still in the air a bit. Bonus points for using the Nailhead! Any idea on the source for those scoops? I know, 50 years ago and all. but they are sweet.
alan barton Posted April 15, 2021 Posted April 15, 2021 What they said! Simply one of the coolest T bucket models I have ever seen. This is a very inspirational model that overcomes many of the awkward proportions that often plague T bucket models. Just stunning! Cheers Alan
johnz Posted April 16, 2021 Author Posted April 16, 2021 thanks to all who commented the scoops came from the amt 65 imperial, sorry not many of those around anymore and if you find one i'ts an arm and a leg for it,seams like somebody makes some resin ones?
larry ray Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 Great build neato. Where did the rear tires come from
ewetwo Posted April 17, 2021 Posted April 17, 2021 What would they say back then? Groovy!. Nice work.

BeakDoc Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 Now that’s one keen bucket! Perfect stance. Beautifully detailed.
JPL-ACE Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 Incredible detail. Best I have seen. How do you get the bolts so perfect all over? I have been out of model building for 45 years so I am behind a bit ? Makes me not want to show my work. Too embarrassing. Sure is nice work.
Kah puts Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 Oh yah that's what I'm talking about, green is my favorite color. Your detail work is right on man! Throttle linkage, positive red starter cable, the list goes on.
