crossfire 2004 Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Finally finished this one up, it’s the lower body from the sedan with the upper section from the wagon which was then chopped into a Ranchero. Some minor trim shaving and tunnelling the headlights sorted the exterior, while the entire inner body was recessed up into the outer. The suspension is at stock height on the frame and the rolling stock are from Pegasus.
larman Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Great job! Nice color, great stance and wheels. Nice 60's vibe going!
FLHCAHZ Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Very nice! Looks like something Billy Gibbons would drive
Sixties Sam Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Very nice work on this! Revell needs to make a kit like this. Sam
espo Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 Great looking color and I like the mild custom look. What did you use for your bed cover ?

Thanks, the bed cover is from the ‘59 El Camino with just a couple of small notches to the front corners. No sense in making work for myself. Lol.
Plowboy Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 Really nice looking Ranchero Stuart! Color, wheels, tires and stance are dead on! Nice work!
JPL-ACE Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 (edited) My first car was a 57 Ford 2 door. I bought all the models of cars in my life that I liked and this makes me want to work on the 57 next. Revell 57 Ford Custom. Looks like a nice kit. I hope I can make it as good as yours. Very clean. Edited May 17, 2021 by JPL-ACE
