Finally finished it.
99% made from used parts with the cab from MPC, chassis ,engine and box from the '66 Revell stepside. Rear fenders and bumper from the AMT GMC stepside. Other assorted bits and pieces from the junk box.
Paint is '69 Pontiac Limelight green poly from Scale Finishes. Marker light decals from the recent release of the AMT GMC Jimmy.

Might sweet step-side. Don't you just love it when a bunch of different kit parts come together and make a winner.  Nice choice of colors also.

Great results Steve!  You really pulled it offered!  The colors are so period typical too, we’ve all seen a truck in those colors. In fact my father’s 71 Belair was near that green.

I enjoyed watching how you put this together. Beautiful finishes. Never understood why Revell or AMT never offered a kit just like this.

Trick is to clearcoat it afterward with acrylic clearcoat and polish it out same as you would the paint on the body.

Is it the Tamiya transparent acrylic?
