Classicgas
Was at Walmart yesterday. They have the Grumpys Toy Vega, the 63 Nova wagon and got this for $19.

ChrisBcritter
Checked Yucca Valley's Walmart; no kits there. Bit of a kit famine here compared to Northbrook; only one Walmart here and the three nearest Hobby Lobbys are 60-mile round trips.
Oldcarfan27
Glad to see Round 2 is attempting to get models positioned in WalMarts again. I hope they succeed, I'd like to find them in more local locations besides Hobby Lobby. deuces wild
I remember when Meijer (sp) used to have a whole rack of model kits from 8.99-9.99 This was about 20 years ago...

There are kits, but not sold by Walmart, other sellers.
sfhess
I'll have to check next time I go to buy oil and filters. That's about all I go to Wal Mart for and there's a store a few blocks from my house.

Zippi
Our local Walmart doesn't normally carry much in the way of models. I'll have to check the next time I'm there.

Rodent
My "local" WalMart is one of the smaller footprint stores and is about 1/3 groceries. I doubt they have models either. I might take a drive to one of the larger stores just to see if they have anything.
Tabbysdaddy
Just checked the one near me. They did change up the toy department but no kits.

ranma
Not to change the subject, But has any of you other "guy's" noticed how the Toy area has shrunk Mainly in Boy's toy's isle?? Plenty of area for doll's and other girl toy's. Even the die Cast selection are is becoming smaller in Our wal mart. As for the girls toys they get three isle's of items. Boy's is just 1 1/2 Isle of toys The Isle at Our local wal mart main boys Isle has Hot wheels ect die cast, some boys lego sets, wwe items, star wars figures, and some other toy's The other 1/2 an isle is RC toys from New Bright. That's the sum total of boys items. Edited August 15, 2021 by ranma
stinkybritches
Make sure you check the entire store and not just the toy area. My local stores will put displays like this anywhere they can find room.
Classicgas
Rob is right. This was near but not directly in toys. It was in the main aisle that went by toys.
Daddyfink
The only time we see those displays is during the Holidays, otherwise, nothing.
