yellowsportwagon Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Hasagawa curbside with 65 Grand Prix roof swap. Put a real Johan dash in with a homemade console top. AMT 65 Riv wires with Nascar valve cover breathers for center caps. 5
1959scudetto Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Wow - very nice ! So you grafted a 1/25 roof onto an 1/24 model ? Fits perfectly !
Rob Hall Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Slick...that roof looks great on there...sharp color also.

espo Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Glad you mention the roof swap. While it looks almost normal you somehow something is different. Looks like it should be this way. I agree with the others on the paint color, looks great.
Can-Con Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 That turned out great Tim. Perfect color and wheels for a Phantom Cadillac.
Dave Van Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Nice work!!! I like the kit warts and all......wish it was easier to get.
rightrudder Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Beautiful result! Your photos really show it off well...I'm a fan of outdoor lighting (and I don't have the patience to build a diorama!).
bisc63 Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Great use of odd parts to make something NICE! She's a beauty inside and out. Is that genuine Iris Mist? Evening Orchid?
happy grumpy Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Great caddy. I like this model year, it looks so awesome in this color. Great mods the result is outstanding.

bisc63 Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Oh yeah, big difference seeing them side-by-side. Never can be sure of computer monitor colors! Either way, it's a heck of a nice color, and is completely believable as an OEM color choice for the time.
Kah puts Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Well heck you knocked that outta the park, I mean trip pinners on the wires, the color and stance , and the seamless roof swap, home run! Me dig.
Claude Thibodeau Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Hi Tim! Great design, perfect execution, bravo! I can't decide what I like the most: the slick roof transplant, or the unique hue... CT
Bainford Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Good looking Caddy. The roof swap looks natural. Nice lines. Cool!
Jeffcad Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Beautiful Cadillac!. That roof suits the design very well, and the color's pretty cool. Great job!
Steve H Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 That is a BIG beautiful Caddy Tim. Beautiful job on the roof, and as the others have said, that colour is perfect. Did I mention it’s BIG…. I need to get a big ‘ol Caddy, great looking cars. Cheers, Steve
Koellefornia Kid Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Wow, that top looks great on that body! The beautiful color and the nice wheels adds an extra dash of elegance! Very nice work!
RomanII Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 What a perfect blending of roof and body. I can't decide if it should be a Calais Custom or an Eldorado Custom Coupe. The smooth sides and Fleetwood level rocker panel chrome trim are excellent.

carrucha Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Cool Caddy! I really like the body color. Nice work on the interior.
