Jantrix Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Outstanding! Wow that really looks great. Great work.
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Very nice indeed. Thing that really stands out to me is how perfect the gloss is for "scale effect". Many otherwise good models have visible orange peel, and others look dipped in syrup. This one captures an absolutely believable surface gloss. 2 1
shoopdog Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Awesome build! I would love for someone to re-release a Javelin kit. 1
Can-Con Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 That's incredible. I thought the first pic was a 1/1 for a second when I opened the thread. ??? 1
espo Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 I agree with everyone else on the paint finish. With the cleanly detailed trim these both are very realistic looking builds. 1
StevenGuthmiller Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Beautiful!! Couldn't have gotten a better finish on that! Steve 1
Steve H Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 I love these cars. Very “crisp” build Thomas. The paint and details are fantastic.
THarrison351 Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Very nice! I'm restarting on my 1973-1972 AMX that I've had since the eighties. I hope mine looks half as good as yours,
Bainford Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Wow! Stunning build. Such a clean, good looking Javelin. Just beautiful.
Bills72sj Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 I could have sworn that was a 1:1. You nailed the details and the finish. It makes my AMX look like a heap.
