This version has been stripped of its badges and the wipers too so it's really not a good starting point for a stock conversion.  Personally, I'm a big fan of the GM intermediates 64-72 so I'm hoping to keep filling in some of the gaps of what's missing especially with the ones we can clone easily from our own designs.

I've already got eight cloning projects going for 2023, you've only seen the first three so stay tuned.

Any hints on what some of those cloned projects will be.

This thread could potentially reach 50-pages in length now that SteveG has shared that little bit of 2023 teaser info!

64-72 GM intermediates. 3 of 8 inbound.
We have Olds 64, Pontiac 65/68, AWB Chevy 65.
Leaves 66 Skylark, perhaps 68 Cutlass to go with 69, reworked 67 GTO convert maybe. 64-65 Chevelle, maybe a 70-72 HT/Convert based off the rather scarce Chevelle convert promos.
Pretty much win-win. Then there’s Mopar and Ford possibilities. More upside.

Looks like this thread continues.  As was stated previously, 3 are done.

My list of possible subjects remaining to be cloned:  AWB 64 Cutlass F-85 "The Steaker", 67 Galaxie, 69 Coronet R/T, 71 Dodge Demon, 67 Bonneville, 67-69 Chevy C-10 truck.

Fine by me - keep it going.

These are fun and Steve's input makes it all the juicier!

And here's hoping we see the price of an unbuilt '66 Skylark drop by 90%...

I don’t see it ever happening, but I’d love to see a 65 Skylark Gran Sport.

yes, '65 442 and GS, clone the '66 GS from a promo or original kit to restore that, then do a '67 GS.

I will try to post some images sometime after the Thanksgiving Holiday of the latest mockup for item #4 of next year.  In the meantime, here's a big hint!  I have paired up several of these projects, the 65 and 68 GTOs were paired up to make the development easier.  This next item was paired up with '92 Chevy C1500 short bed pickup.

Don't forget about us F-O-R-D guys!  A nice (accurate) 1969-70 Mustang would be great!! ?

I have one.  Should I bump the price up and sell it?

Ohhh, I sooo hope that there will be a kit of the '92 (or so) Chevy pickup with an 8-foot bed!!!  King-cab version would be very nice too! "Pseudo" GMC grill would be a nice bonus.

And there's hoping for a modified reissue of the '82 Chevy, but with an 8-foot bed!

Should I hope for a '68 442 from the '69 442 by MPC/AMT?

I am happy to hear the truck may be back. I will take long or short!

I wonder what mockup #4 as well as the paired projects will be?  Maybe this week we will see them.

X2 for the '62 Galaxie!  To further the point, AMT has issued 1960, 1961, 1963, 1964, 1965 Galaxies in the past several years. We need a '62 to fill that gap!

I sure would like a '62 and '67 Galaxie. Stock '69 Thunderbird would be sweet also.

'I'd buy that for a dollar...!'
