This model has been completed for quite some time now, but I had never taken any pictures of it. Until today that is.

It is a rather simple formula:

Revell '32 Ford Tudor Sedan kit with the rear windows glued and painted with the body and I rear door scribed by hand.

The engine is from the kit with some billet aluminum air cleaners (I think Parts by Parks), scratch built fuel log and fuel lines.

t is all plumbed and wired.

The interior consists of the seat from the Revell '32 Ford 3Window, Balsa wood cargo compartment, scratch built headliner and photo etch dash and steering wheel.

The wheels are Billet aluminum rims with billet aluminum hubs and three layers of photo etch spokes plus some photo etch spinners. The rear tires are from the original '32 Roadster from Revell and the fronts came from the parts box.

Paint is Tamiya Maroon with 2K clear coat.

Hope you like it.

Beautiful work! I always liked the Sedan Delivery and have plans to build one myself using a body I have in the stash. I love the addition of a headliner and the wheels are perfect!

I'm guessing that you have quite a stash of 32 parts and kits? I inherited a few bins full of various parts. I'm looking forward to sitting and doing some parts bashing to come up with some future builds.

That's a good looking Delivery Deuce Michael.  That paint is shinning like a new pair of shoes.  The business end looks really nice and tighty.  Great looking build.

Beautiful looking finishes wherever you look on this build. I like the way the engine is detailed with the color matched heads and the 90-degree spark plug boots. I've never been able to get that to look right. The color selections all work great together.

Doesn't get any better than that! All of the details come together so nicely! The color, wheels and engine really makes this model! Nice work!

Thank you Roger.

The whole model was basically build around those wheels. I remember drooling over them in a couple of hobby shops in Chicago back in the mid/late '90s. Those Detail Master wheel sets were going for $30 to $40 back then and just simply could not afford them on my models. Besides considering my skills back then, perhaps it was better that way. LOL. So when I found a set on evil bay for a reasonable price, I snatched them right away and just had to build a model with them. At first I thought "no way I am covering all that nice shiny polished aluminum". And then I thought "what the heck, let's do it". As I was painting them I was thinking  "what have you done? Are you crazy?"  But I think the end result was worth it.

Everything about this build right and tight, and that flathead is a tour de force of how to display your talents. Bravo.

Thank you Glen.

This was actually the very first flathead I have ever build. And I still have not done another since.

An excellent build. The colour combo is spot on with a nice glossy finish and I like the wire wheels too

Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

Wow, absolutely gorgeous! Nice job on the SD conversion and you can’t go wrong with Maroon on a ‘32 Ford. Also liking yellow as the accent, don’t know that I would have tried that but it works nicely. Detailed Flathead looks awesome!
