The former Aromic City Swap Meet has been rescued by one of the vendors.  First show at the new location was yesterday.  Already have the Revell Bora, but they turn out nice in the right color and detailed.  Couldn't pass on the Mercedez G4 either.  The F150 crew cab was a nice surprise.

Spent the weekend in UK, visited London and on Saturday we went to Aldershot for the annual Rockers Reunion. While we were in London we had to visit Hannants in Colindale, London. Bought a Lindberg '37 Cord. Not the most highly detailed kit, but let's see what I can do with it...

Also today a couple of decal sheets arrived in the Mail for planned future projects. These were found in eBay. On top, Ohio George Montgomery's Malco Gasser Mustang decals by Slixx. In the middle, decals for Max Sterling's '61 Pontiac SD Super Stock by Decals By Lucas. And on bottom is Ronnie Sox's '63 Impala Z-11 decals by Slixx.

I received my Scale Motorsports Wynn's decals for the Ford GT, but, I did not have a Ford GT! So ordered from Amazon, it was on $20! But, they made sure the box did not make it intact by packing it in a shipping bag!! Sides are squished and there is a tear in the front right about where someone's thumb would be if they grabbed it, because that is exactly what I found out when I grabbed it!

So yes, I paid a good price, but, the box is junk! Oh well.

Ordered some paint from Scale Hobbyist, figured I may as well grab a few more of the ICM Ford kits. Henry Ford was back in stock so he's now living in Cocoa Beach. As an aside I emailed ICM about how badly we need a good 30-31 Model A Roadster kit on the market, haven't heard back from them yet.

Nice Mr. Postman dropped off an A. G. boxing of AMT's '56 T-bird today.

For a long time I didn't give this kit much thought, stupidly assuming it was nothing but a warmed-over version of the flawed AMT '57, blobular chassis and all.

Some posts on this forum corrected my thinking, and Duddly01's ongoing build reminded me I kinda wanted one.

Nice kit, and I'll be needing more, as it seems the best way to get a GOOD '57 is by using this kit as the basis.

Bill is the chassis different in this kit from other AMT kits?

I have already picked up another 57 kit from Hobby lobby just for the body to do this very build. :D

Both cars I like a lot at 1:1, and I already have different versions but I can think of varous ways of building them.

Love the looks of the Mitsu Galant. might have to find one.

I got a Vics Resins 1965 Pontiac Tempest wagon body, and interior tub with bench seats molded in. I am planning to build a GTO wagon with this old kit I got at a flea market.

This 1/16 just showed up today. I had one of these when it was new in the early '80s in my early teens. I remember building it but unfortunately, like the dozens of other models I built back then, it's long gone to who knows where. I saw this on ebay and had to have it as I am a wicked Dukes geek. This is from '81, not the reissue, still wrapped.

There was a note inside saying that this belonged to a gentleman who just passed away at 86. This was part of his collection of 1000+ models. Wow, and I thought I had alot of models LOL!

Not hard to reach them high numbers lol. I’ll be doing another plaza Japan order eventually, and that’ll be another 11-12 kits added to the stash lol.

Got a project lined up where I’ll need to cast some stuff…didn’t realize Michaels stocked Alumilite products (albeit in more crafter-friendly packaging…)

Quite the bargain from eBay in the UK:

kit-parts.jpg

kit-parts-with-alfa-p3.jpg

An exquisite Western Models 1/43 Mercedes W154, only slightly started. The detail is lovely, and it's much more detailed than the 1/24 Auto Kits (although the 1/24 Finecast originals are a different story). The 1/24 Mercedes W129 and W154 white metal kits I've seen are beautiful too, but literally 10 times the £20 I paid for this one, when you can find them. Anyway, I thought it might be fun to do one of the Eagle cover vignettes using it -- half the size of the others, but it'll still be cool, I reckon... Just need to lay hands on a suitable 1937-vintage 1/43 driver...

1/25 scale resin woody conversion for the Galaxie '47 Chevy kit, by Best Model Car Parts.

Beautiful quality, as always, and another one I wouldn't have known existed had it not been for this forum (Thanks Casey  :D).

Nice kit Warner brothers said they would never issue license for anymore to be made so I bought me a 1/25. You have a real nice kit there.
