Is there a tutorial available to show how to check your pictures, and also how to reduce them if needed? I looked the other day and didn't see anything.
kelson Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Arrival from the other day,i was hoping it would make a good donor to resin body so i can make a Hornet s/c 360,but it's in such great shape i don't want to use it.🤷♂️ 9
dave branson Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Here is what I got this week. got 3d parts from 3d scale parts very good quality, takes a little longer to get but excellent parts. I got boots with spark plugs, 1/16 weber carbs for Revell Karman Ghia, and weber carbs for Corvair. I got racing Nissan Skylines from 1991. Last thing I got was 8 spoke rims & tire set from Jays Resin Wheels for a build I am working on now 3
NOBLNG Posted March 30 Posted March 30 (edited) Picked up this ‘53 Corvette for $2 at the flea market. I thought parts were missing but I just wanted the engine. Turns out it is complete and un-started.😁 From taking inventory, it looks to be a nicer kit than the AMT one. Edited March 30 by NOBLNG 7
gtx6970 Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) Made my day. The final piece I needed to replicate my actual car( outside of the correct interior, But I can live with the 67 if needed ) 1966 Satellite spinner hubcaps https://www.ebay.com/itm/376110482918 Edited March 31 by gtx6970 6

I looked the other day and didn't see anything. When you insert a photo into your post, double click on it and a window will open with the current WIDTH and HEIGHT dimensions of the photo, and you can change those dimensions to whatever you like. Make sure the box "Keep original aspect ratio" is checked, and you only have to change one of the dimensions, the other will change automatically. At least, that's how it is supposed to work, and hopefully it will work for you. It used to work for me, but for the last year or more, whenever I post a photo and change the size, it returns to its original size when I submit my post. I often set the WIDTH dimension to 1200, as in the test photo below, and it changed in the post draft, but when I posted the post, the photo reverted back to its 1495 original size. Good luck. A modeler named mike Posted March 31 Posted March 31 From the last week by mail. The Bobby Allison is Autographed and was a make an offer deal, a really good deal by todays kit prices. The Gypsy Wagon was an unbelievably good deal also, way less then what they are normally going for. 4
Mark Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Another T-57 '57 Thunderbird kit. I'm a sucker for these...I've had several, as of now I have four unbuilt (two mint, two-including today's-have one split corner on the box lid but are unbuilt and complete). T-57 is the first run, in the smaller of the two boxes AMT used for 3-in-1 kits in 1962. Though a trophy is included, nowhere on the box is this one called a Trophy Series kit. That came with the next issue, around 1965-66. It's in the smaller box despite its $2.00 retail price suffix. Every other $2 kit I can think of came in the larger box. The smaller box was for the $1.49 retail kits. Later production runs of this kit were put in the larger box, with box art similar to this, and a new product number (T-2257). Not looking at the 1962 catalog where this kit was announced, I think it shows the T-57 style box. Same parts content in both, same $2 retail price. I've got one mint T-2257 just for comparison, also a few in lesser condition for building. Neither version of this original issue T-Bird kit has the stock hardtop. That was added for the second issue. 8

That front plate makes it look like one of my builds. Did the ebay ad say "professionally built by John Klaver"?

One of the sellers I follow on ebay is, francisstudio, the location posted is Dandridge, Tennessee. The seller has quite a few models listed as Professionally built or award winning by John Klaver. Some pretty nice looking builds.
