What did you get today? (Model Car Related Items)

Fireball Motorworks had no problem selling me two more wheel fronts for my '69 Chevy pickup (spare, and the second for the next pickup), and I really wanted to try his LED light bars, and check out the farm jack, it's super delicate looking.  Hint of my next project underneath.

Got home to find this waiting for me. It's been semi-poorly started but it looks complete at first glance. Got it for $17 shipped from Ebay, so I don't feel bad about it. I'll see how well it cleans up tomorrow.

What kit is this?.

It is a resin 60's Dodge. I'd like to find some info as to a maker, if anyone knows.

Also, got the Dino 246 blown apart this morning to put in the purple pond. It came apart fairly easily and I managed not to break or lose any pieces. I see that it has a poorly repaired windshield frame.

In today's mail. MPC's 1/16 1963 Corvette Sting Ray. Since Round 2 refuses to reissue it, I had to buy a used one off of eBay.

Looks like a nice kit. It sure would be nice if they re-issued it. Might look pretty good next to my 1/16 Shelby Cobra, whenever I might finish it, lol.

The mail carrier was cool enough to bring me these on Monday. Got a couple of LS swaps planned from the SSR kits, but the 442 is not one of them.

I built that 442 kit about a year ago. One of the nicest kits I’ve ever unboxed. Just an awesome kit IMO. I think you’ll enjoy it.

I got these in over the past few days:

MPC 1968 DODGE Coronet convertible:

The only thing missing, other than the windshield frame and 'glass', is the hood.

Jo-Han 1964 Chrysler 300 convertible:

The windshield post wasn't broken in the listing pics on eBay, but when I took it out of the box, this is what I found. seller was kind enough to give a partial refund.

I also got this nice promo:

1957 OLDS 98:

This sink mark is the worst thing about it:

Good to know, thanks for the info! I've been interested in this kit for a couple of years now, and have recently seen a video review/build on it and finding it for a good deal was just too hard to pass up.

So, it has traveled more than any of us lately! Good to know who made it. I'm glad I have it now. I look forward to seeing what I can do with it. I was thinking of trying to build it a bit more close to stock, at least with the suspension. Would a LR Express frame or a LR wagon frame be more appropriate?

I have always wondered why Revell or some other company has never issued a Super 88 hardtop like this.
