Nice stuff Tommy!

The '62 Chrysler is tough one to find in convertible form.

As you know, I just built one.

I have a nearly carbon copy example of your '63 Dodge.

Same color on the outside with a gold interior.

It's one of those that's so well done that I'm debating whether or not to restore it.

Yours looks to be in the same kind of condition.

Yes,that was what made me want to get it,not that it would come close. This on has no uptop either.

The bulder of the 63 has put some effort into it,but as with most of these older builds, the paint isn`t

shiny and smooth, and lot`s of sharpie details, and knowing the improvement some smooth paint

and bmf does,it`s hard to leave it.

I agree!

Chances are very high that my '63 Dodge will be getting "the treatment" at some point as well! :)

Saw a Molotow Chrome paint markers demonstrate at last nights the MCCM (Model Car Club of Minnesota) meeting. I was impressed. Ordered one each of the 1mm, 2mm, and 4mm. Looking forward to playing with them.

Also at last nights meeting I picked up AMT's 1/32 Scale Stars '65 Mustang. A very nice looking kit, by the way. And for my birthday I ordered Revell's 1/72 scale "Luxury Yacht 108 ft." This kit was sold in the past as the Sunseeker Predtor 108 kit at a slightly higher price. The Revell yacht kit arrived in the mail yesterday afternoon.

Went to the Bennington (VT) Toy and Model Show today, but it no longer has a model contest, just a good number of model car venders with some interesting stuff. Old and new kits, resin bodies and old built model cars. I was tempted many times, but resisted getting something I'll never finish. I did succumb to a 1961 Studebaker Lark promo with a frozen friction drive and a missing wheel and grill. The plastic body was pretty straight and was only $10. I drove a 60 or 61 Lark all summer for the Connecticut Highway Dept. taking traffic surveys all over the state. We'd sit in school desk chairs at shopping malls and take licensee plate numbers. They used this to graph traffic patterns. The Larks were our home for the day with all out lunches and sleeping quarters for smoke breaks. This model will be a nice representation of a car I "owned". :D

Two Lindberg kits waiting for me when I got home. Their 1935 Auburn Boattal Speedster and their 1/32 scale 1952 Chevy Fastback. The Auburn looks better than I expected. The Chevy was exactly as remembered it to be. Which is okay.

Finally got me a '64 Cadillac bench seat - the hard way:

Clean '63 built kit and decent '64 promo, cheap. I'll dismantle the '64, make a mold of the bench and cast it for my Coupe deVille, then do the needed repairs. I have a trade in mind for the '63 when I go to the next LMMCC meeting.

One of my grail kits finally coming thru . Ive been after one of these for several years now and always get beat out at the last second. Not this time baby....... I watched it all week on ebay and it stayed reasonable ( as reasonable for what  a 68 Coronet usually sells for )

I threw a pretty decent bid at the last few seconds and low and behold. I won,,,and for considerably less than my top bid.

All there and completely unpainted / unmodified .  This one will probably stay pretty close to the front of the build line.  And it will NOT be replica stock .

You guys can thank me,,,,, as now that I have one. Someone will announce there is going to be an all new tool produced here soon.
