Brudda Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 Saw this today. The lady is selling it. Two people in front of me. If they do not buy it , I will have this for my car collection. 1936 dodge bros. 34,000 original miles. Unrestored , Has records. We will see. 1
espo Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 "He who snoozes loses" as they used to say. Where are you going to find another one? So, if you can afford it, and it sounds like it's something you would like to have, I agree you should buy it. This looks like it has been very well cared for.
espo Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 The homemade flatbed on the Ford pickup looks like it was built for a specific use. The moldy Graham hopefully will get the same treatment as the nice pick up behind it.

I haven’t seen one since the 80s and never one moving under its own power. Ben Not sold in Canada but not an uncommon site around here considering they were made about an hour from where I live. The body panels were made in my tiny home town. ? 1
misterNNL Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 A Rivian pickup truck parked in our motel parking lot in Gatlinburg, Tn. I guess I need to come out from under the rock I evidently have been living under as I had never heard of before spotting this one. A quick interweb search shows one for sale for $ 112K for this electric truck.
bogger44 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Spent last week out in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota for some fishing and much needed R&R. Saw quite a few cool rides and rigs out there. The beautiful 63 T-bird was in Sioux Falls, and the last 2, in need of rescue, were out in the plains. The Bronco was unbelievably clean. 3
RSchnell Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Had some time after lunch so I rode out a nearby industrial complex. Found a few goodies. You don't see many C4 Corvettes in the Bright Aqua Metallic.

Those are new and they’re building them right here in Illinois at the old Mitsubishi “Diamond-Star” plant in downstate Normal, IL! I’ve yet to see one of the trucks like you saw or any of their delivery vans that Amazon is buying yet, but I did catch a glimpse of one of the SUVs that uses the truck platform for the first time while leaving the gym at 12:30am or so last weekend.

I would not walk away from buying that one at a reasonable price.
Joe Handley Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Finally say a Rivian R1T Truck today, now just waiting to see one of their delivery vans at the local Amazon facility.

They (Rivian) made a post on IG, with a caption that was something to the effect of "Rivian. The greenest thing you'll see all day"...........

OldNYJim Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Saw this on the road today - pulled up at the local Cars and Coffee having, apparently, driven there rather than being trailered like you might expect. Sounded cool anyway! I liked this little roadster too: 1
GLMFAA1 Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Got no pictures but I live by the junction of I 80 and I 76 and yesterday and today got to see that NYC opened its wallet. Yesterday saw new Metro transit bus and today saw new refuse truck both with big apple logos. greg
426 pack Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Found these not quite on the road. First I found what looks to be an early 50s Plymouth Right beside it was an old McCormick-deering tractor but the coolest find was a 1941 Ford f100 with flathead v8 that had a good sized hole in the head right above #5 cylinder. 2
sfhess Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Some interesting cars I managed to photograph in the last couple of weeks: 2

RSchnell Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Saw lots of stuff out & about due to the impending storm. '54 Chevy pickup, couple of midyear Corvettes, etc. Only managed to get a pic of this older Land Rover and a Tesla mobile service van. Have not seen a Tesla service van before!

Badges have been removed, not covered up. Probably will be crushed soon. A few years ago I saw one on the freeway a couple of times as I was driving to work Edited September 27, 2022 by sfhess
keyser Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 (edited) Landy is an NAS spec 110. Pretty rare, only 500 real US cars or so in us. Lots of imports though. Fun cars https://bringatrailer.com/land-rover/defender-110-nas/ Edited September 27, 2022 by keyser
The Junkman Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 I'm probably late to the game but I finally saw one of the electric Hummers in the wild today. Just like this one-same color and ride height. Overall impression: big, like in really big. Great for compensating for what you may be lacking. 1
Suburban_Hooligan Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 the pic doesn't do it justice. but a pink Miata. 1
sfhess Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 67 Plymouth Fury 4-door hardtop. There's a pink late-model Charger running around here, a pink Tesla 3 and a pink/black Challenger, split the long way.
