Rob Hall Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Saw a derelict looking Mercury Zephyr 4dr at an intersection...looked like it had been painted matte black w/ rattle cans..chrome trim, bumpers, etc all black. Haven't seen a Zephyr or Fairmont in what feels like decades...

bogger44 Posted February 26, 2024 Posted February 26, 2024 (edited) Saw this '79 F150 out behind a local Ford dealership today. And, while way back in September, this van who's owner has a good sense of humor. Edited February 26, 2024 by bogger44 1
RancheroSteve Posted February 26, 2024 Posted February 26, 2024 Came upon this while out riding a few days ago: Photo shoot, of course - just another February day in Los Angeles.

Yes, but not in "Amurica". I'm sure that you know that the American railroad network is nothing like European or Asian network, but also there are very little electrified part of the railroad. Diesel locomotives are what is used. They still belch stinky exhaust. And those Diesel-powered trains do transport lots of new cars to various destinations in cars likely much larger than the European counterparts. Edited February 28, 2024 by peteski

Tabbysdaddy Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 They're diesel electric locomotives. Give them some credit, they're halfway there. 1
sfhess Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 There is a well-used UP railroad line at the end of my street. I have not noticed any belching of stinky exhaust.
